  • well i may be confused about which singer on which album, but i know when they were at their most technical state, they had the best of everything. i hated light up ahead. actually just the singer, he's got a weird tone.

  • @stonephone

You can't possibly think Jon Bunch is better than Jason Gleason. Jon Bunch sounds like he should be singing in a band like mercyme or some shit.

Fact is the only reason people like Carrabba better than Gleason is because they fell in love with the band when Carrabba was the front man and people hate change. I'm not saying I don't like Carrabba, I just think Gleason is a better singer. His range is sooooo good. Not to mention when he turns on rasp mode it gives me a boner.

  • Check out my band... I mean, I can't make you, but you should.

  • this singer is the worse they've had.

  • @stonephone I disagree.

  • I have and have heard and fallen in love with every song by this band. Makes me melt every time. <3 Every one of their songs holds a memory for me.

  • the sound i like this song i love it i like listening to it my borther dosent idk why evrytime i put it on he covers hes ears butt i dont care

    XD

  • Love this!!! songs like four letter lie when Kevin Skaff sings.

  • Gleason was so good. He was outstanding live.

  • totally thought that the mic at 2:15 was a yo-yo

  • well they actually are not even a band anymore so dont expect anything new =(

  • This is like FM static and As Cities Burn combined into one big BEAUTIFUL mess :P Gotta look into these guys more :O

  • @NoobyMac they are before those bands yo lol why wud u use newer bands as comparison.

  • @tharbk01 because I don't know anything about these guys; when they started, who they are, what they stand for, nothing. Looking back at these guys now, I think I was stupid to say I liked them. They're just like any other pop-rock band. Boring.

  • @NoobyMac hah that was what a few months ago u made that comment.?

  • @tharbk01 yeah, and in those few months, I've gotten into some awesome bands who rely souly on passion, and it shows in their music. Check out Underoath and TDWP. They're so much better then stuff like this.

  • @NoobyMac its ok, although i still like Underoath, i miss Dallas, and their older music. And ur pretentiousness in writing off that underoath has more soul and passion, when ultimately it depends on how well a band resonates to that one specific listener. Who knows maybe ur write, but we dont personally know the band and how much passion they have.

  • Jason Gleason, right? What ever happened to that dude?

  • @diyanggo He's fronting some kind of Jazz-Fusion band. Seriously. Google Jason Gleason Old Wives.

  • wow i miss the old singer too bad he isnt in fsf anymore :|

  • is the name of this band The Sound?

  • @Jvaughan777spider No- Further Seems Forever.

  • oh jesus! O.o

  • Chris Carraba from dashboard confessional was the origional singer for this band long ago.

  • @sweet80smovie

there have been like 4 or 5 singers, and the one after chris was the best and the music was the best. very mathy and melodic. and by mathy i mean prog rock.

  • this is the first time i've ever heard them, i already like them (:

  • best song ever!

  • i like his krokus headhunter t shirt slim fit size ho make you look an atletic body when you are not XD =)

  • Cool.........do you or your friend remember what kind of building this was?

  • Anyone know where this was filmed? Always thought the building had such beautiful architecture........................

  • moon is down > everything else

    :(

  • Gleason is an amazing vocalist. Saosin shouldn't of passed on him

  • @Johnm0819 WTF!?!?! THEY HAD A SHOT WITH HIM!?!

  • Anthony Green and Gleason voicewise are like night and day Gleason would have completely changed the vibe and direction of saosin...For better or for worse. Gleason was perfect for FSF though

  • that's a lot of strings going on

  • Does anyone know what Jason Gleason is doing now?

  • 30degrees: Last i heard he started a band called ActionReaction with his wife and another former member of Element101 but this is circa '05. He also recorded 1 song for a christmas compilation as a solo artist, also pretty old news. It suck i think he was by far the best front man Further seems forever had, his voice was a prefect match for the music FSF produced. That's why i think this was their best album. Sorry i couldn't give you more up to date info.

  • how did the guys from strongarm end up making this? its not bad, i kinda like it. it reminds me a little of jimmy eat world. but strongarm and fsf are such different styles.

  • im going to go with the fact that you are but a child and thus asked such a dumb question. the fact that members of strong arm went on to form fsf shouldnt come to a surprise to you. chad gilbert from nfg was one of the original singers of shai hulud, pete wentz from fall out boy along with tim from rise against used to play for a band called arma angelus. do you listen to the same shit from 5 years ago? just as you long for a different sound, musicians style and influences change.

  • Good point actually. Like, I would have preffered if you didn't make me sound stupid, but you explained it well. The thing about nfg and rise against are that they are still related to the punk sound, though, whereas these guys are a little more alternative. But you are right, people's tastes change.

  • Shame this band fell apart.

  • i loved gleason in this band. he fit so well. how to start a fire was a very solid album

  • @Palisade88 no way that was there worst hide nothing was the best

  • i hope you don't mean that, because that album sucked. that singer was the death of fsf.

  • @Palisade88 yes i did mean that and jon was there best one and no it was not the death of fsf there starting a new band with the same ppl they want to use the name fsf but there not sure if they can

  • gleason was the best frontman they had IMO.

  • Lefty drummer... wierd. decent band though :)

  • What a terrible video. Stop looking at the camera.

  • Comment removed

  • Well that's pretty cool.

  • actually they are. Tooth & Nail is a Christian lable

  • A big difference you obviously don't know the first thing about.

  • @xxnateness

you got like 7 minuses for your comment and i cant see why at all. i agree with you, except i dont really see how tbs is indie.

  • wow! they sound like Taking Back Sunday :D except they are Christian Rock and Taking Back Sunday is Emo...Oh well, they both rock XD THIS IS THE BEST SONG BY FURTHER SEEMS FOREVER!!!!!

  • nope

  • And I can't agree more

  • they predated Jonas Bros for years and they are real, relevant, and has a great message. do your research before you bash a band just because you don't like the sound. and honestly, if Alice Cooper had a throat cancer while recording an album, he'd sound better than the Jonas Brothers.

  • i was going to say...i think this album was recorded before the jonas brothers were even alive haha

  • @tekqitonstudios

who compares ANY musician to the jonas brothers; it's a joke

  • Too bad there not together anymore, but Jason Gleasonhas his own band

  • whats this song called?

  • so much better than chris crappa

  • luvin it

  • love them i mean wat else can i say?!!!

  • Of course it's good, It's Further Seems Forever...

And Chris Carrabba was the first singer they had, by far the best.

  • agreed.

  • This Is Actually Quite Cool :)

    ii Liike :)

  • that kit looks like a piece of crap

  • for sure. it looks really starter like

  • panget neto buloks na kanta pang bata

    hays

    cno ba gumawa neto

    ^_^

  • it is his former band..he did one album with FSF and its "The Moon Is Down" .. i think that was jason gleason whose singing in the vid..

  • didn't chris carrabba used to be in this band? jw

  • just noticed there are 3 guitarists...

i supposed there were only 2, so what's the story?

  • Comment removed

  • i don't know about these guys, but alesana has 3 guitarists because they want to sound as good live as they do on their albums. i'm guessing further seems foreveris does the same thing.

  • Very good song.

  • wow¡¡¡ good song

  • really good song .. when i go te bed this is song is brilliant to fall asleep :)

  • For me this is the best song of this goup

they really know how to make emotional songs ; ]

    Los mejores sin duda!

  • they were leaders in the emo movement, but they never got the press

  • lol leaders of the emo? Defineitely not. Emo was pioneered by Rites Of Spring and Embrace was around the 1980's...

  • @godswrath45 Someone who actually knows something. Thank you for not being ignorant. =]

  • fuck u christian bands r better than ur lame slipknot gay guy

  • dude u got it all wrong

  • Mmmm I like the singer :).

  • Wow, really now? For your information No, I don't.

  • fuck off with the spam

  • mais non! le meilleur vocalist etait chris carrabba!

  • girl prefer carrabba ... they like their alter ego!

  • une de mes musiques préféré (L)

  • in my opinion, jason was the best vocalist out of all the others <3 this song is so great.

  • <3333 love this song!

  • how in the world do they play with three guitars? every part sounded like it could be played by one.

  • is this band already disbanded?

  • They're not disbanded, they've just gone through multiple vocalists since Carabba left.

  • Yes, they are officially done as a band. Have been for a year or two now.

  • JESUS loves you!!

  • This is one of the best songs ever written; i think.

  • This is a great song. To answer your question yes, Chris Carrabba was in this band. However, Jason Gleason replaced Chris for this album, and Chris never returned. The band unfortunately is no longer together, too bad.

  • i personally like jasons voice the best

    but i like them both

  • Chris went onto Dashboard Confessional, which is the band I likes first, just heard that Chris used to be in a christian band n im like wooo!

  • thats really cool

  • I stand corrected. :(

  • This is a really amazing song =D

  • this is the same FTF that Chris Carrabba use to front yes?

  • yes it is

  • they are soooo kick ass

  • i been listening to these guys forever theyre amazing

  • awesome!

by the way is this band christian?

  • indeed, tooth & nail = christian label;

  • well there are bands on tnn that arent christian but Im assuming that this a christian band.

  • tooth and nail produces many bands that are obviously not Christians but I guess it's hard to tell for sure nowadays.....But yeah, it's safe to assume they are for sure

  • anberlin consideres themselves Mainstream, but they were on tnn for awhile.

  • Mainstream doesn't mean they're not Christian though...

  • While i totally agree with you, what's the point of going mainstream while still holding the Christian title? album sales would plummet, because people don't wanna hear "christian rock". Although, a band with a very positive message is a whole nother thing.

  • They define themselves as "a band of Christians, but not necessarily a christian band."

  • pop

  • this band is amazing...

go check it on wikipedia...their guitarist is called Derick Cordoba..well heir old guitarist...

    heres the good part

HES MY FUCKING GUITAR TEACHER NOW.

if you dont believe you dont have to...but he moved to europe...not gonna say where ..in germany but im not telling you the town for people that might have bad intentions...

but hes an amazing guitarist and an amazing teacher.... if you believe me just hit me up on my channel :)

  • who cares?

  • Comment removed

  • dude gioitti1 no 1 cares

  • and im just saying...

so if you got a problem..

    fuck off.

  • germany and europe are two totally different places...

  • yeah i know..

him and his wife moved there. she got accepted in BIS and started teaching there. affter school, he taught guitar lessons and joined the school band, which have made some of their original songs

now i moved to frankfurt...so i dont have lessons with him anymore... but i must say

    a great teacher and musician.

  • the only celebrity friend i got is that teenage guy who gets whipped and kills that wolf on 300

  • Let me guess Joslin American?? "germany and europe are two different places" ??? germany is apart of europe idoit!!

  • ooh lefty drummer

  • Jon Bunch in my opinion, has a much better voice then Jason Gleason, but his voice works for this song though. Oh well i miss Further Seems Forever. and Dashboard Confessional, to me...sucks.

  • dashboard is great!

  • did the band break up I like them and its my first time hearing them that will make me sad if they arnet together cuz I really liked them

  • hands down, one of the best bands ever.

  • This is not screamo....Get your music Straight G. This is good music with meaning.

  • wow i forgot how much i love this song and album. i really really miss jason being in this band. i think they peaked with this album.

  • What does screamo have to do with this band?

  • Stop dissing screamo!

It never did anything to you.

It's just your personal opinion that you dont like it...

That doesnt mean it's bad at all.

You dont have to like it.

Other people like it,, so just chill... lol : )

  • You have a point i HATE screemo but i like this sort of stuff.....

  • i agree this was the end of good quality emo... then came Scremo which is the WORST MUSIC EVER.... every band today is trying to be all HARDCORE but they dont know how to write good music/lyrics.....

  • I can see how a lot of people differ.

    I find screamo music beautiful.

I agree, there are a lot of bands out there that only do screamo because 'it'z liek hxc'.

But you know, that's just my personal opinion, and probably plenty others too.

  • I think there are a few that are awesome, like As Cities Burn. Their lyrics touch people every day. And I can't wait for their new CD.

  • Whoever doesn't like this song, or FSF post Carraba sucks balls. Jason was probably just as good as Carraba. John (3rd FSF singer) was still pretty good, not as good as Chris or Jason, but still, FSF overall in all years are dope. Although I can't say doing "Bye Bye Bye" by n'sync was a good cover.

  • Good coment greg0rius. Thats the truth. I liked Corabba a lot more in early dashboard and all of the further seems forever stuff. Modern music just blows haha. I think my acceptance for new music ended in 05...and im just 23 lol

  • this was then end of real emo

  • i think real emo ended in the band 1905...

  • its a band name, they play "REAL" emo music, (RITES OF SPRING, INDIAN, FUGAZI, YOU SHOULD GET THE IDEA) NOT THOSE MCR, SHITS...

NOW AWAY FROM THAT, THIS IS MY FAVORITE FSF SONG, SECOND IS SNOWBIRDS AND TOWNIES!

  • HAHAHAHAHA 1905... thats just LOL

  • Actually I'm not kidding, just hear it here on youtube... youtube. com/watch?v=QP4l6O11Q3Y

  • It doesn't sound like emo... too much screaming, screaming is okay, but that was a bit too heavy... Try something like Camber or Texas Is The Reason...

  • But see, that's the idea, real emo means EMOTIONAL HARDCORE PUNK...In short, "Indie emo" is well, fake as well...I'm not saying that they are bad or anything like that. I actually like Texas Is The Reason, but I can just simply say they aren't emo...

And umm, that's not even too much screaming, that's only emo ;-)

This is what real SCREAMO sounds like: NfAswZIQH-U

  • lmfao, you think this is "too heavy"

    WOW.

  • this is awesome. the vocals r really good.

  • wow, this brings back memories of 2003

  • not really the biggest band, but like the song

  • yo i live two blocks from josh colbert

  • lots of peeps hated on this dude for a minute back then, but He did do good in concert and I appreciated his time in the band.

    much love

  • Best song eva!!!

  • My Gosh! I luv this song!!!

  • this is what emos should look like, tight shirts but not fucking girl pants or eyeliner.and the tattoos are a great part of the image when it comes to further seems forever.

and i like the song,i think FSF's guitar sound kinda sounds like mineral but higher pitched.

whatever singer it is,doesn't really matter or affect how they sound.further seems forever are easily reconizable, therefore are unique.

  • I do agree with the Emo thing.. I personally like this style..

  • 3rd

This era of FSF was far ahead of it's time.

  • i've been listening to these bros since '99, i didnt know they were suppossed to be christian or whatever and i dont even care. they're badass

  • By all means, they're wicked. The only way I came across the fact is that they played a venue in Dallas/Ft. Worth that was a Christian rock venue, so I looked into it.

  • I heard that they R a Christian Emo Band, but Im not sure. Could someone please clarify that with me?

  • They started out as band that just happened to be Christian as well, meaning their lyrics weren't faith based. However, later albums became more faith based and therefore classed Christian. I like the earlier stuff more myself.

  • The chorus is really poetic:

"The sound now turns to silence but i'll keep spinning around, naked in the rain of my own tears as they fall into the bucket of your apologies, while closing everyone else's eyes,

because your own are shut not to see the volume rise again."

maybe emo, but not suicidal or depressive, just pure heart and soul. This guys rocked, somebody knows where i can get the final curtain dvd?
