Steamboat was probably the greatest face of all-time. How do you say anything bad about Steamboat? I remember his battles with Flair, Roberts and Savage: all classic good vs. evil.
That's a pretty remarkable cassette JJ had. The music in the gym went from sounding like it was coming out of the cheapest transistor radio to Bose surround sound.
That is a shame that Ricky Steamboats brother couldn't get that weight off of him what does he work out with 50 pounds all the time I guess he does more cleaning up than working out cause it shows.
Oh I REALLY remember that clip when Ricky Steamboat's archrivals went into his gym and damaged a lot of items. He was angry. He might have been away competing for a match at an arena in another state when those wrestlers did all that damage even damaging his trophies. And that was JJ Dillon long before he managed the 4 Horsemen later on in the '80s. I'm surprised that they didn't show that the first time when all that weight was on his upper waist.
@danteras23 I'm "in the dark" as to HOW the WWE and Steamboat came to agree on a DVD set. Steamboat's gimmick was, OF ALL THINGS, "the DRAGON?!" In my opinion, being asian myself, IT CAN'T GET ANYMORE STEREOTYPICAL THAN THAT!
@flipgood89 Victor was the ICW Heavyweight Champion, which was based in the Northeast for a long time. Tony Atlas and Joe Savoldi were mainstays there for a long time.
@mkl62 They would have made a great tag team in the NWA but maybe Vic didn't like that region and moved up to the Northeast to wrestle. I remembered seeing him on ICW shows on TV in the late '80s.
i was looking for this man i remember the first time i saw this man back then you couldnt tell me rasslin was fake the stories seemed so real still do compared to the new bullshit
I actually got to work out there in the early and mid 90's before it closed and became a church. The building behind it is where they taped the tv footage. I think now or atleast some time ago was a furniture/cabinet shop.

I wonder why Ricky and Victor never teamed up as a brother team. I thought for sure this was an angle for his entry into JCP.

For those of you who are wondering who the "unknown gym worker is" it's Vic Steamboat.Ricky's real life brother.

he wrestled for ICW and later the IWCCW (after it merged with WCCW when Tony Rumble was still alive). What ever happened to Vic Steamboat?
