Let me say this. All the games are worth playing. Demigod and LoL are a fresh new game based of DoTA, I still play LoL regularly. I played Demigod for a while (wasn't my game) and I REALLY liked it, I don't know how it died (or atleast I think it did, I would love to play it if I know that there are still lots of people playing it). HoN is like DoTA so if you wanted to experience something very similar to DoTA, HoN is your thing, (untill DoTA 2 comes out atleast imo)

I tried LoL, I tried HoN and demigod, i didnt like any of them, looking at the leak of DotA 2 i can clearly see they kept the map layout like it should be, i also recognise some heroes and how they are played, so i guess il be playing the next one.
I play LoL right now, but will change to Dota 2 when its released. I didnt had the chance to play Dota Allstars, but warcraft 2, and I somehow know some heroes and im really happy to try this. Im sure this is going to be a great game, because its from Valve.
LoL is not a gateway to Dota 2. The majoriy of LoL's player base are teenagers who believe what they like must be the best, therefore will not bother trying new stuff and even attack competitors due to their insecurities. The fact that to be 'involved' in the LoL community means forking out money only exacerbates their blinded devotion.

@GrilladKirby Lol you learn before you talk, there's a reason why Dota isn't called Dota allstars anymore because icefrog wanted to differentiate his versions with guinsoo's. Guinsoo was the one that created allstars and his reign was only up to the 5.xx. And yes, it was a shitty game back then, luckily icefrog pick it up and started the 6.xx where it's also known as the competitive era

@GrilladKirby You're an idiot Guinsoo made Dota allstars and it sucked ass, he was in development for about 3 years unlike Ice who has worked on the map for 5-6 years. Guinsoo brought almost nothing to dota, even Neichus who worked on the map for only 5 versions made huge improvements. Learn your history Dota=IceFrog, he made it famous, he made it competitive he's the one who actually made it fun and interesting to play.

@GrilladKirby Actually Eul created DotA and then Guinsoo took the idea and created DotA Allstars and it become more popular so therefore Eul passed it down to Guinsoo and then Guinsoo left to develop another game and passed it down to IceFrog.

so up to now HoN is much better than DotA and there is nothing wrong in playing it up to the releasement of DotA2 but I think people playing HoN will transfer to DotA2 even if they buy Dota2. About LoL.. it's shit but lets don't forget that the makers of DotA are now in LoL so I think this is the think which make people play LoL because I really can se anything other . Compared with HoN, LoL is too "noobish"(I'm not sure about the right word). But this comment became too ling so ,bye ;]

Here are my opinions on how games will hold out when dota 2 will be released.
I feel like HoN will take the biggest blow as it is basically the closest thing to Dota. Most who play Hon played Dota and will then play Dota 2.
LoL will do OK I believe for the same reasons you said in your video. Its different enough to hold its own against Dota 2.
You also mentioned Realm of Titans and I played in the closed beta and safe to say that game wont do to well.
