At Last, some one who has a decent music education as well! Thankyou for not sticking up for a silly little girl who has an ego the size of mount rushmore if she she thinks she can sing a song like that. seriously, its ridiculous how many artists like her nowadays have no idea who some of the really great songwriters/singers were. they all need a serious waking up in my opinion. :)

Wow, that's a good cover of this song! I love Pat's version as well, but Hilary has done a great job with this. I wish I could have gone to this concert.

Maybe in some people's opinions it wasn't "messed up". Maybe Hilary really did put forth an honest efort. I suspect she di. Do you have any idea how much you have to pay someone to redo a song. Love Is a Battlefield is obviously a song Hilary cares abbout and can relate to deeply. Otherwise she wouldn't have covered it!

I think this is one of Hilary's greatest copys. A LOT better than Our Lips Are Sealed. Say what you want but HIlary did this great! I still think by like 2 points, Pat does it better though. Mabey if Iheard without the STATIC!!!!

We all know that Pat Bentar sings the song better, but that's because that's the original.
EVERYONE tries out covers when they're out on tour, so why shouldn't Hilary?
It's just a bit of fun, and the crowd seem to enjoy it!
She didn't TRY and be better than Pat.
And it's YOUR opinion that this is worse than the original. Most covers are, when they're by anyone.
Leave Hilary alone, she was just having a go. It's not like she's released it as a single or anything!

Hillary's version doesn't even begin to stack up to the original. Pat Benatar was a power house. It took Hillary Duff and like, four background singers to even get the volume of Pat Benatar, let alone the sound [which she didn't accomplish]. She shouldn't have covered this song. Sorry to say, she doesn't have a powerful enough voice to pull it off.
