  • how did you get these specific sounds in to the train even the switch on the tender to swtich whistles?

  • i just upgraded the smoke unit in mine it smokes like a champ now

  • i have the same set yours sounds and smokes better how can i get the upgraded sounds

  • well it looks like Santa has had it with naughty kids this year, the tanks he ordered should do the job!! lolz. Do you still have the passenger cars for it or no?

  • that is so cool

  • What's the train on the inside track? Is that also a Lionel? I've been looking for an old-time Lionel engine and coaches like that.

    Thanks, Antigan15

  • @Antigan15th

The train on the inside track is a Bachmann ON30 (O scale on HO track). It's not a Lionel.

  • this year Santa's going TOTAL TANK!

  • @jlebaron1 Ho ho ho! Scott Calvin.

  • Check out my Pennslyvania Flyer video

  • so the polar express is taking tanks to the north pole lol

  • can you please tell me whats the differnce between rail sounds and signal sounds?!

  • i am a big person on model trains, so u made the polar express a milatary prodject with the tanks in the back =) lol jk, great set

  • Beautiful steam engine and i love the two choices of whistles. 5/5

  • I like the fact that you can toggle RS whisle with air whistle..very clever...No I need to find a RS tender.

  • great work !!! very fun and lot of realism with sounds !!!

  • makes the polar express a lot better dosent it

  • What did you put into the train to make it have sounds?

  • I have heard Lionel was doing this. Bravo for them. I may pick one of those up too.

  • Lionel just released a tender with railsounds in it. Making life easier for the rest of us.

  • Yes, It does make sense

  • Nice. Does it have 4 chuffs per revolution. I might consider putting sound in my Berkshire now that I have seen yours.

  • No, this one uses the two chuffs I think. Chuffs are all dependent on how many little magnets you install on the tender wheels, and how large the locos drivers are. If the locos drivers turn once for every two turns of the tenders wheels, you'll get 4 CPR. If the drivers are smaller, you'll get more like 2 CPR. If that makes sense?

  • Can you run it on the next video?

  • Go to "More from this user" and see ON30. My son was at the controls, so it may be a bit eratic.

  • What is that train next to the Polar Express?

It dosen't look like it fit on HO tracks

  • If your refering to the yellow train, it's a Bachmann ON30 2-6-0. O scale narrow gauge loco that runs on HO track.... Bobby
