  • Warrior1502...shut the fuck up! Soldiers fighting for us? What are we fighting for? The invasion of iraq was illegal! They had no ties with Al Quadae, Saddam had no WMD, and it was all lies and false information was provided by the neo cons to force a regime change! By the way, legally Bush can be tried for war crimes! Do you want to join him? If you support Iraq, you must have supported Vietnam! Wars for the sake of wars! We have no right in being there!

  • if it wasnt for the office he held...boy would i love to...speak like you care (like Obama) not read a pre-written speech McCain.

  • I have family and friends who are serving so dont say its pointless they are fighting for you and so you dont have to go back

  • OBAMA!! =D && fuck you if you think different.

  • This is we need to stop this war. Its been taken too far and so many soldiers have died. Just think of it like this, how many Iraq armed forces have we killed? What difference does it make. So we killed me more than them what did we gain from it. Nothing, all we prooved is that we can beat down on another country and take over their Government forcing them to accept the terms and policies of the new order which is capitalism and then we have another America to populate.

  • Senator McCain seems to lack an imagination for the positive. He is a product of Cold War thinking, which means dividing the world in only two dimensions -- them vs us, good vs. bad, black & white, terrorists vs freedom-fighters. This results in the same rhetoric: "We should choose to succeed in Iraq" no matter at what cost to our soldiers, budgets, families, and domestic lives. Our economy is hurting by such thinking. This kind of "experience and judgement" has led us to where we are today.

  • We should choose victory! We should choose to marry a millionairess! We should cheat on our wife!We should change our mind about religious extremist we used to disdain. We should flip flop on torture. We should violate campaign finance law.We should have 60 lobbyists working for our campaign while claiming to hate lobbyists. We should stop speaking in slogans & superficial jigoisms. We should have a foreign policy based on reality and what is best for our country,& not just the republican party.

  • Obama is smarter than John Macain, Macain does not know the difference between Shiites and Sunnis, Both him and Hillary did not read the full intelligence report prepared by the senate before they voted! where was thier experience? Bush has experience, Dick Cheney has experience, stalin and hitler had experience. It's character and judgement that really matters! and intelligence! Obama graduated top of his class at Harvard Law School. Magna Cum Laude at Columbia University!

  • mccain is a fucktard

  • Visualize it, McCain! Kum Ba Yah!

  • Boring! Is he reading a story to his kids or what?

  • I hope Condi doesn't support this dimwit though.

  • "We should choose to succeed in Iraq"....but what he really means is ....no matter how much blood it takes of American sons and daughters...just as long as its not my daughter's blood. Would you send your daughter McCain? Maybe Bush might send his daughter's too. I have a niece right now in Iraq, I would love for them to trade places with her.

  • I think he needs an IQ bump of 40 points for his IQ to match that of Clinton's or Obama's.

  • That is why he will get Condi as VP. She has more academic and foreign policy cred than Obama and Hillary combined. The left will really hate him then tho... but according to polls, a mccain/condi ticket is unbeatable.

  • FU McCain

  • It's hard to separate McCain's experiences with the Vietnam war and it's failures from who McCain is now and who he might be as a president. He is not Bush, for that reason alone. What I would like to know is, did his experience with failure in Vietnam shape him in a way that is good for American, or bad. Meaning, is this too personal for him and he is blinded, or has he learned a good lesson about the consequences of failure. I wish I knew.

  • -- America not American

  • His desire to stop the torture of our enemies that he himself endured answers that question.

  • They have been motivated to stay in Iraq for as long as possible from the start.Neocon agendas to protect Israel, control of oil,and fleecing America for profits have been their intent all along. They should be in Afghanistan a lot more.We need to go after our real enemies. They should be long done with Iraq by now.We have been misled about this war from the start-why should we believe them any more? How is this defending America? The war on terrorism is not being fought to defend but to spend.

  • you assholes should have chosen to win years ago. you've had your chance, now get our men the fuck outta the meat grinder! mccain was in vietnam, now he wants us to stay in this middle-eastern vietnam...what a sadistic fuck!

  • create the ill to sell you the cure, right?...we the well-informed are wise to your fascist warmongering ploys. so, why don't you just shut the fuck up, doubletalk mcbush reading a script handed to you by your war profiteering masters!

  • LOL! What would McCain do without his notes or the teleprompter? It sounds like he's reading a bedtime story... "and they all lived happily ever after." :o/

  • FUCK OBAMA

    FUCK HILLARY

    FUCK MCCAIN

We are doomed to the same bullshit we have been dealing with since 2001 ,these clowns aren't changing anything.

  • Fuck You! the people chose them! they have our mandate! Fuck you again! fucker!

  • 'Conservative' isn't defined by whatever a republican politician does. If you support the Bush regime & McCain's continuance of it, you aren't even remotely conservative. Many people who claim to be only do so an image, to fit in where they live, or because their parents were. They have little understanding of what a conservative is. They believe that conservativism is whatever a republican politician does. This simply is not the case. See McCain morph to the slate of Norman Podhoretz & Feith

  • McCain is an instrument of the war profiteers and Zionists. He is merely the next chosen front after Bush for the Neoconservative agenda and no he wasn't chosen by the American people. McCain was chosen by the Israelis to be the next "President" of The United States and those who rig the Diebold voting machines made his nomination a reality. A MCCAIN "PRESIDENCY" WOULD BE COMPLETELY ILLEGITIMATE AND NOT TO BE TAKEN SERIOUSLY! FUCK MCCAIN! LONG LIVE THE RON PAUL REVOLUTION!

  • Wizard: PREACH!

  • Oh I will continue to preach brother! There are forces in this country that are intent on stealing every last dollar of American taxpayer money and in bleeding this country dry for the benefit of the crooks and Zionists that control this government and THEY have chosen McCain to carry the Neocon torch from Bush. I will not believe that McCain won those primaries because nobody likes McCain whether they be Democrat or Republican. LET'S TAKE THIS COUNTRY BACK! LONG LIVE THE RON PAUL REVOLUTION!

  • watch?v=4qk2HecP09Q

  • More warrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

  • Why read a poem to me McCain

  • yeah its all the zionists falt, dude ron paul is a crazy ass radical christian extremist,i served my country as a member of the 10th Special forces,1st battalion, alpha company,2nd platoon,1st squad as an 18 echo or team communications sergeant meaning my job was to call in air and bomb strikes.i served 3 tours in iraq, and aghanistan, ive never usually used my record as a use for an arguement but im jewish, and for your information its not zionists that control the goverment its christian

  • wakeboardbrat I had a friend who served in Iraq and what he told me doesn't quite match what we hear on TV and on the radio from "pundits" who are largely Jewish. That is of course before he was discharged with severe PTSD and must now be on constant medication just to function. That's what the Iraq War did to him and what did he or any other American get out of it? Nothing. It's about oil, profit, and the security of the state of Israel.

  • I have a question for you all: dullsville, matttube777, ytofhassan, kwixotic. You all bash what's going, how would you fix it? Seems to me like you can bash, yet not have any ideas to fix the problem?

  • After Bush' lies about Iraq' WMDs, now it is time for mr. mccain and mr. crocker to fool us!!

  • Another horribly misguided guy driven by nothin' but bombastic Bush babble talk!

  • Seemingly well meaning but a TERRIBLY misguided, pathetic guy.

  • THIS MAN IS A TRUE PRESIDENT

  • Ask McCain this questions, it was no Al-Q in iraq before you neo-cons attack Iraq. Why did you neo-cons attacked Iraq?

  • Iraq won't work as a unified country. It only stood together under represive rule such as Saddam's. The Sunnis, Shiites and Kurds hate each other for good reasons. A history of genocide, civil war. THE ANSWER IS NOT A UNIFIED IRAQUI ARMY. ITS NOT A UNIFIED IRAQ. IT'S SPLITTING THE COUNTRY INTO THREE. The Kurds have had their de-facto state for a long time, with their own army, and government. So should the Sunnis and Shiites. Iran has seen this comming right from the start. USA wake up-

  • Iraq will not be governed by anyone the US props up,it will be ruled by the winner of the bloody civil war that will be financed by US taxpayers.Aaaaarrrrrgghhhhh!!!!!

  • Another sociopath on the loose... What a fat retarded fuck!

  • No mention of the dropping economy or giant debt whatsoever.

Nothing but vague SCARE TACTICS to continue the "blood for oil" war a.k.a the "middle east gas station" war.

This guy will sacrifice every troop in Iraq to get the "job" done, mark my words. WHAT FUCKING JOB anyway? Iraqi people want the US "occupiers" out and these are the most irrational people on Earth. These people don't bend under pressure----they blow it up even with themselves if necessary.

    McCain = end of USA

  • lol ignorance at its best.

  • i hope obama dosent win cause if he does we really gonna need to bring our troops home to prevent the mexicans from crossing the border

  • Amen Brother!

  • No, No, you anti-American people.. we need to stay in Iraq! You people posting here don't have a clue what it is you are really asking for.. "bring our troops home" is not the answere!

  • ignorance at its best!

  • Nothing of substance was said here. Continue what we are doing...blah blah blah, Al Qaida, Iran, defeat...I want change but have no clue how to do it politically...guy is senile and needs to be defeated.

  • Hey McCain, quit beating the horse will ya, its dead already, quit kidding yourself. Bring our troops home now!

  • go to "ALOMEG" YOU NEED TO HEAR THIS! READ THE DESCRIPTION, VERY IMPORTANT.

  • I just cant look at McCain will not thinking of his "bomb..bomb..bomb.....bomb..bomb..iran" joke. Real funny McCain.

  • disgusting

  • We know McCain is senile, maybe some one from his staff shuold had told him that this was not the time for a cheap presidencial campain speech. It fact is was of poor taste

  • I like how he used the floor to push agenda items for his presidential attempt.

  • Yup, But I'm afraid he is boxing himself into a corner here. Identify his strategy completely with Iraq.

  • I'm sorry was there a question in there somewhere? I kinda dozed off after two and a half minutes. McCain rambles more than Ellen DeGeneres on meth.

  • thanks tootalliz, I thought this was a Q&A with General Petraeus, WTF is McSame doing?

  • There's something wrong with the premise of preventing Iraq from becoming an Al Qaeda haven. Like they can't train elsewhere? Like they can't find other sympathetic countries? And telling me to choose to succeed is a slap to my face.

  • was mcinsane,or the general testifying???

  • You cannot win a war against a tactic. It is literally that simple.

The Policy os the U.S. purposely doesn't want Iraq to be secure because then we would be letting a crucial area off our hands.

People like McCain, Hillary, Obama, PNAC, Etc. Have a vested interest in being there and staying there. These speeches should fall on deaf ears.

Ontop of the fact, how many Generals before Patraeus have left? Even now the Admiral.

  • The USA wont stop until they control all the oil in Iraq, Al Quaeda wont stop until all the infidales are death, and Iraqis wont stop fighting for their own lives. FREE IRAQ from AL QUAEDA AND USA CAPITALISM stop the Illegal war.

  • Nice campaign speech.

  • Hi! My name is John McCain...i can read off a sheet of paper. Whoopee!!?

  • McCain is so full of BS. The Iraq war is the never ending war (of course, McCain wants to stay there for 100 or 1000 more years). The political situation in Iraq has not and will not improve. We need to let the Iraqi's fight for their country, and bring our troops home.

  • i got a kick out of those NEO-CONS calling the Iraqi resistance "ALQAEDA", better not calling us here in the US "ALQAEDA" if China ever attacked us. Now a days, a true patriots called "terrorist."

  • At least he didn't say "al-Qaeda in Iran" this time.

  • it is nice to know McCain knows everything that is going to happen but cant even remember the name of who he is fighting

  • How will Gen Patraeus's testimony affect the presidential race. Thanks for the comments.

  • It highlights the republican line that the surge has been a wonderful success. It helps ignore that the reduction in violence is largely the result of bribes to warlords, who are now not happy that some of their promised bribes were not fully paid.

  • If Patraeus gives his usual semi-revealling but not damaging report, then there may be a small increase in support for the war as per. However, the only people currently supporting the war (and therefore McCain) are a mixture of the wealthy white, the religious right and deluded politicians.

Unfortunately the only candidate willing to take another look at the reason we are in Iraq (9/11) is now out of the race, so the least wwe can do is support someone who wants out.

    Obama'08

  • Veracifier, two things will happen:

    1) Obama will benefit in the short term in the nomination race against Clinton, because his opposition to the war will again be given some attention. This may be the boost he needs at this point to move further ahead of his Democratic opponent.

    2) McCain will have an opportunity to gain some political points as well, and to further distance himself from the Bush administration's handling of the war, which will ultimately be to his advantage come November.

  • You're right. Finally we have a middle man.

  • Those are good points worth pondering. I liked Obama's questions as well posted by Veracifier.
