I love Nate, he is a really cool guy. Stark Sands is really hot. I'm reading the book from Evan Wright now and I love it. Nate comes of a the good guy, who loves his men. And they love him back. You can tell.

Also you can see it in the serie.

It's incredible how much respect you gain for Fick, as a person, through this series. The situations he is put into as both a leader and a subordinate are beyond what most of us will ever experience. Just ordered his book; can't wait to read it.

In Nate Fick's book, he doesn't talk about himself much. I always imagined he'd look exhausted and long-suffering. In the photo from his book, he looks like a worn-out high school teacher, while his men look very cocky.
