Have you not seen very many action films? What was original about this movie? What was even entertaining about it? The special effects were lame. The scenes were not exciting...some actions by the characters were needless...like crossing your guns or shooting through water jugs at any enemy...I mean are you even serious?
i have seen a TON of action movies. and this is a good one. the action is not needless. and shooting through water jugs? how is that stupid? ur not gonna be like "ok. there is water jugs between us. its stupid to shoot through them. so lets just come out and then we shoot. ok?" seriously. what the fuck. and in LOTS of movies they do pointless things with their swords, guns, and fists. like in alot of martial art movies they do weird kung fu moves just standing there.
i wasnt trying to sound like a smart ass. but still. the effects wernt bad. like when he cuts the dudes arm off. looks real. and people do things with their guns and shit all the time. ever seen Hitman? agent 47 does it all the time. and El Mariachi in Desperado and Once Upon a Time in Mexico.

I totally agree! Cage can NOT act!. He is the complete opposite of a versatile actor. You could literally take any of his roles and place them in any of his other movies and you would have the same movie cus he's so 1 dimensional. He portrays every role the SAME. Take a great actor, russell crowe. You can't take his gladiator role and put it in, say, cinderella man. It wouldn't be the same, because he portrays them differently (obviously). But Cage takes on every role the exact SAME!

the title: who calls an action movie "dangerous". Did any prospective viewers expect the protagonists role as a killer to be risk free!? Nicholas Cage: I mean COME ON! Hollywood is just gross in that they let about 10 high profile actors steal every role across the board. I am positive that even though the script is probably terrible, a new, colder looking face and personality in the form of a debut actor would make this film less off putting from the start.

I totally agree! Cage can NOT act!. He is the complete opposite of a versatile actor. You could literally take any of his roles and place them in any of his other movies and you would have the same movie cus he's so 1 dimensional. He portrays every role the SAME. Take a great actor, russell crowe. You can't take his gladiator role and put it in, say, cinderella man. It wouldn't be the same, because he portrays them differently (obviously). But Cage takes on every role the exact SAME!
