Always shoot with Both eyes open, its not a rifle!! well are you not blessed with no left eye dominance issues V12GBY ....But i agree with gun down... gun moves along the flight line of the bird as soon as the mount is complete pull the trigger
@VasilyZaitsev8@XtreamHunting In English Sporting you can call with the gun almost mounted. I personally prefer it as when you're out game shooting you don't always have the gun mounted. It gets you into the habit of seeing, then mounting. Also, I never close one eye when clay shooting. Always shoot with both eyes open, it's not a rifle :)

i disagree with eyes aways open i shoot with left eye closed and shoot 50 straight regular on skeet with 1/2 and 3/4 choke
