I am going to visit Auroville in a couple of months and would not like to feel out of place as an atheist who does not believe in any supernatural phenomena. I am hoping most people's beliefs will be non-intrusive and will not share them as an absolute truth, because everything is relative in this universe, and there is no room for absolutism.
All this talk about spirituality and a "higher power" is really putting me off. I can understand those concepts metaphorically, but am a bit uneasy if that is the general view point shared and accepted as truth. I'm concerned with what is logical and can be determined with science. Any subjective experience is not a universal truth, even if it is shared by many. It just makes it a common phenomena, but not truth.
I am very supportive of this community's aims on a solely moral viewpoint.
