BOO HOO If a fake can kill then I am all for stopping them. YET if its something like clothes etc its LOL. If ya want real go to the store!!!! Besides some fakes are NEAT. As for lost jobs. YEAH IN CHINA!!!! BTW so called mink fur is Coon Dog or Fido or Fluffy!!! Labels LIE.
There is a lot more that the likes of Google can be doing to support the whistleblowing process and the fight against sellers of counterfeit goods.
Public awareness: the reporting hotline for the country could be hosted directly and obvious in the Google main web search page, the Google main shopping search page, and again in the Google search results pages. The same for the warning messages “BEWARE FAKES” “REPORT FAKES” and a "Watch this clip before you buy!" video clip embedded alongside.
Ebay are liars. They are doing nothing. 95%+ of Gucci / LV / Prada on eBay are counterfeit. No matter how many times I report them, they're still there a week later. Ebay offers zero protection for buyers who received a fake. If you try to get your money back, you have 5 days to fax eBay proof from a professional on headed paper that the item is really fake or the buyer keeps your money. Leave them negative feedback, and eBay removes it.
Counterfeiters should be punished very harshly including having all their property confiscated and forcing them into bankruptcy. That being said, avoiding paying taxes is NOT immoral. In fact, it is immoral to pay taxes if it can be avoided. The government has no right to confiscate wealth through taxation.
why ppl need to go online and purchase a designer bag?! If you have the money go to the store and purchase it, if not then either save up for it for don't buy it at all. In the end when u get it in a store it is 100% real!!!
I bought a Gucci bag for +$900 (original price $1500)....and it was a fake (I knew it the moment I got it). The individual refused to give me a receipt for the purchase (that should have been a give away)...I complained and returned the bag via register mail and PAYPAL was nice to give me a full refund when I complained. I also got the cops involved that their account was closed down on ebay...unfortunately they opened a new one soon after. EBay..no help, PayPal, helpful when I did reg shipping
the only reason they crackdown on counterfeit is by what she said because whoever buys the fakes aren't payin taxes on that purchase fuck the government
EBay is the den of thieves when it comes to fakes! It wants big volume sellers so bad because of the fees they pay, they overlook the fact most designer items are fake. There is really no recourse for the buyer either. Google 'Tiffany EBay lawsuit' and you'll see that Tiffany is suing EBay because they bought 100 Tiffany items on EBay and over 80% of what they got was fake. EBay claims it cant be responsible for its sellers, so it is the ONLY large store that can get away with so many fakes
Ive never seen a fake bag or watch that would fool anyone who knew what the real thing looked like. The problem is EBay sellers use a picture of the real bag or watch and you get a fake one. Most people don't leave bad feedback because they just want their money back. Others don't know they got a fake because they don't know how ridiculous it looks compared to the real thing.
the best way to make 100%sure to buy an authentic item is buy it yourself at the original boutique... if you can't afford a real one at retail price... well, leave it and save the money!
This isn't even about lost jobs or tax revenue. People actually have the hubris to believe they DESERVE luxury goods. If you don't make the money, then you probably should consider something called a BUDGET and if worse comes to worse, you could rent a luxury bag on sites like bagborroworsteal[.]com. This attitude of entitlement is what puts so many people into insurmountable debt.
True. But with how much real Louis Vuitton costs and how much trouble that's gone into producing things, a card (though there would be maybe 10,000+ of them) with a typo would discarded. They probably have to discard things that do not meet their quality standards.

So, what's worse on the Smurf than Gargamel? Counterfeiters!

Its common sense, if its sounds too good to be true it probably is! Go to the official site or boutique. End of story.

Knowing who to trust on the internet is a big deal. buySAFE seems to offer the perfect solution for buying with confidence and low risk. Great idea!

Smart...it's about time we have a trust authority to look too with respect to the myriad of vendors out on the Internet. Great job!
