Guys, seriously. This performance was not really good, but it is not that easy to perform this old and awesome sing with such an audience. But see the good things. These people had a lot of fun and the band members had a friendly and human behaviour towards these people. They let them sing! They were happy. That's all what matters. So don't say that they were awful.

As for covers, I love this cover, as well as Pillar's and Paramore's covers of the song. There's a CD called "Artists united For Africa" with a whole load of U2 covers and much of them are nice.
