  • wow.. very good work! :)

  • thanks a lot

    make more designs tutorial !!

  • Thanks, I learn't a lot.

  • you rock!!

  • very nice if only i could remeber this for my lessons! =( but thanks alot

  • Just finished my ribbon. Thanks a lot - I really appreciate it! Please keep on doing what you're doing. (Especially with Adobe Illustrator.)

  • Tut, you are the best teacher on youtube. I have experienced the worst, and you are definitely the best. Illustrator is an amazing tool, but great teachers like you allow us to really maximize the potential of it. I love your videos. You take your time, you explain the little things, and you don't jump over the details. Bravo, Sir!

  • Great tut. I' m just learning Illustrator so it took me an hour.

  • Thanks buddy, been using illustrator for a decade now but was always too lazy to try and figure out how to make ribbons.

  • Cool video... By the way you sound like Andrew Kramer from VideoCopilot. :D

  • hi, when i pull down it doesnt pull down one bar on the grid like yours, how do i change it so that it does?

  • Thank you so much for this tutorial dude!!!!! I recently started learning Illustrator at a design school in my hometown, and you´re helping me a lot too...!!! Keep it up man!

  • Admit already... you ARE bush

  • Im not sure if this is only for a mac. But instead of doing the copy and paste thing to put the layer to the back of the other layer. You can just go to Object<Arrange<Send to back..

  • The keyboard shortcut for PC is as follows;

"Alt + [" will send your selection back 1.

"Shift + Alt + [" will send to back.

"Alt + ]" will bring your selection forward 1.

"Shift + Alt + ]" will bring to front.

  • @Djelibaybi Ctrl is supposed to be everywhere you typed in Alt e.g. Ctrl + [ will send your selection back 1.

  • cant u finish one side of the ribbon first and then copy/paste to the other side? seems more efficient to me,, although idk wat im saying

  • Subscribed (long time ago) and rated 5 STAR!!!:D

  • Hey, I LOVE your tutorial....You got talent...:D

    good job!!!

  • what a talent..hard work..smart mind..nices job.

  • you need to use illustar

  • can some1 help me? sometimes when i open the cs4, i cant do anything. the mouse is shaped like a hand and it doesnt let me draw or anything. i dont know what to do :(

    pls some1 help me :D

  • you might be running out of hard drive space for your swap file to allocate memory to. either change swap file destination or delete some files to free up space in your current swap file hard drive destination. if that doesn't work you will need to re-install the program.

  • Hi swooc, sorry to say that hard drive thing this time doesn't work for this bug in Photoshop. I can tell, I bought my pc the day before yesterday and the problem occur anyway with about 450GB empty space in the hard drive. A part from your suggestion, somebody else tried to suggest a complete clearing of the preference list. Still not sure about that too. In many cases as mine, I just shutted down Photoshop and wait some time.

  • I have the exact same problem when I open Illustrator and the mouse is shaped like a hand, I thought i was the only one! I have to restart my computer and then its ok - its such a pain :(

  • also try hitting SPACE BAR several times.....that also worjs....

  • hit space :-)

  • some times is because the "space bar" is stick... just hit it a couple times that should work.

  • very nice :) keep on the good work

  • Fantastic!

  • excellent!! thanks

  • That's some bad as* sh*t! (which means good).

  • damnnnn

  • Although a complicated tutorial and you do need some knowledge of photoshop I thought the instructions were very clear. Another reason I like this tutorial and all of tutvid's is his explanations of what he is doing and why. Keep up the good work

  • When I get to the end where you minus for the end of the ribbons my expand button does not work so I picked it from the object list. Now when I try to put the -2 band around the shapes the ends of the ribbon wont take the bands and a large blue square is there. When I remove the square by deselecting it my ends are gone. What did I do wrong to make this happen? Thank you

  • Thank you for the tutorial! Very helpful :)

  • nice!!

  • Really really good tutorial, per usuall ^_^.

Can i request a photoshop tutorial on making glossy dropp down text, with gold and making the text look like its shining, a bit like the hearts on this tut.

  • the easiest way to do that is to ctrl+click the picture on the text layer. Then make a new layer with the selection. Then make an oval over the part you want highlighted, ctrl+shift+i to select inverse, then delete. Finally, you can keep the oval selected, modify=>feather, crtl+shift+i and delete. That's it.

  • NICE!. very good

  • Is it possible to do a tutorial on that in Photoshop CS3?
