  • thanks ! what type of ink do you use?

  • Daniel Smith oil based relief printing ink, straight out of the can! I recommend adding some drying agent like Japan, Cobalt or Tuway drier to speed up drying time, though.

  • super short videos!! good info but short!!

  • Yeah, I know. I've got a really old digital camera and it only takes 30 second videos.

  • Other than being short- these videos are great.

You need video editing software- comes with every new computer or you can search for a free one on the web. Then you could splice together all your 30 sec clips and have a longer video. I have Windows Movie Maker on my computer- which sucks, but it came with the computer and it works.

Have you tried using Jaquard inks like Textile Colors, Lumiere, or Neopaque for block printing?

  • Hey there! Tthanks for the comment!

I guess I forgot windows had Movie Maker in it. I'm fiddling with it right now, and it's definitely simple, but I think I can still make some better videos with this, so thanks! Too bad it doesn't make the video quality any better though :-\

No, I've never tried any of those inks for block printing, pretty much just Daniel Smith (awesome) and Speedball (mediocre). Have you?

  • Thanks for this!!!
