these drugs I tried two other kinds of anti-depressants before I found one that actually worked for me. Without them I am out of character, anxious, crying all of the time, depleted of energy and feeling worthless...on this medication it has improved my thoughts and life tremendously. Not a bad drug just try different ones or maybe your not actually clinically depressed. Sorry but that's my reality and the reality of many of my friends who are different antidepressants that have helped them too.
I have nothing bad to say about paxil I was on it for two years and it helped with my depression and anxiety. I recently had to go back on them because I'm clinically depressed and without the paxil the suicide thoughts were worse everything felt worse. I've been back on them for a few months now my general anxiety disorder is no longer a disorder as I don't suffer from panic attacks anymore and I'm feeling much better about my life and there's hope again. Not everyone has a great experience on
i Was taking these pills to sooth all my anxiety and depression symptoms that i have had my whole life. I started taking CELEXA (CITALOPRAM) 20MG. I have been off them for 5 days now and hope the withdrawl symptoms end soon. I lash out and bark back at my loving and supportive boyfriend friends and family. I GET SO MEAN and SAY MEAN THINGS TO HURT THEM. I have insomnia and night sweats. BRAIN SHOCKS are the most time i am most to lash out. IT HURTS ME MORE that it is NOT MY FAULT.
Psych drugs kill 3000 per month and the doctors who prescribe and PROFIT from these drugs KNOW the life crippling effects and deaths caused by the very drugs they prescribe. This is all over the internet and as more speak out and more lawsuits are launched against drug companies and psych/docs less people will ultimately be harmed.

I was put on Paxil in Ottawa when I was 15. I attempted suicide many times on that drug. Since then I cannot seem to shake my brains addiction to antidepressants. I was just put on Lexapro by another doctor. I'm 25. 10 fcking years of this sh*t. i don't know when this will end.
At least SSRIs aren't as scary as benzo w/d's. The stories are terrifying and indescribable. I'm hoping to get off of zoloft soon in the near future. Really hope to change myself from the inside out rather than by short term fixes.
I also took prozac of 80mg for over a year, which became less effective as time went on, and several other drugs. Now, I'm taking Effexor 185.7mg along with Wellbutrin 300mg that I've been taking for nearly 3 yrs since my mother was murdered. I just wanted to share this to let people know that antidepressants aren't as scary as shown in this video. It has helped me, or should I say "saved me", from ending my life. You just have to try several meds to find the one that works for you.
I started on Wellbutrin, next to Celexa, then it was Effexor, Then from there is was Cymbalta. When I first started on anti-depressants they felt like just what I needed. I felt good, I laughed a lot, I always was in a positive optimistic mood. Believe it or not it all started with just one pill Wellbutrin which was administered just after my coming clean off of street drugs and alcohol addiction. Currently I am on: hydroxiyzine, trazodone, clontidine, and Cymbalta. I feel like killing myself. ☹
I took paxil and prozac. They both seemed to help my depression in the short term, but eventually became less effective.I also experienced significant side effects.I then learned that SSRIs can actually reduce neurotransmitter levels over time and even destroy neurotransmitter receptor sites.Worse, these drugs contain fluorine, which is a major toxin. In other words,SSRIs can wreak havoc on brain chemistry and the body and should not be used.SSRIs also have a suppressant effect on thyroid function.
truth ssri's are like a sugar rush of seritonin after a while it while not give u anymore because ur brain stpped making it do to the pills. it works like xtascy but softer and longer. if u take them for a long tim u will be messed up one can only can seritonin from food and supplements look it up
@imcrazy85 actually instead of stimulating a rush of serotonin, SSRI's work as a result of binding to selective receiving ends. this makes the chemical signals last longer between neurons. the brain doesn't produce anymore serotonin than usual. ecstasy along with other stimulants damage the brain by over-exhausting it from constant surges. damage as such simply doesn't occur with SSRIs.
It's kind of weird how it works in an intuitively opposite way than people expect.
@DAVIDVINCENTDURING the end product was my point not how it gets there.and i disagree with u.ssri's do overexhaust the brain its the same just a longer version
Hate to say this, but, Thank god for Energy drinks and alcohol. Ever since I've Started SSRIs, I consume them more than ever to keep stable.(This does not mean I chug a bottle of Jack Daniels Day and Night). The First couple of Months were great, SSRI really changed me for the better, but you do build a slight tolerance to the point where your brain almost fights back and says "Dude This shit isn't really working anymore".
The main problem with all psychotic drugs is: #1 nobody knows WHICH neurotransmitter works for whom. Doctors throw darts in the dark. SNRI, SSRI, SNDRI? Tianeptine? Mirtazapine? #2. nobody knows which dose is right for a particular person. They follow the package insert which spells doom for many.
Concerta landed me in ER with BP180/150. Wellbutrin made me mad with anxiety. Prozac gave me narcolepsy. Now I am on 2mg Reboxetine/day with Nicotine gums.
@IwontConform what side effects from paxil if u dobt mind me asking. i was just prescribed it

When fluoride attaches to serotonin it is inactivated, causing depression.
All SSRI drugs contain fluoride do a web search "Nazis water supply fluoride"
Also the sexual side effects are because fluoride makes you sterile
