  • Stupid Democrats! She needed to take the 5th Amendment. How does Representative Conyers get elected?

  • Stupid Democrats! She needed to take the 5th Amendment.

  • Bizarre to hear a grown woman pleading the 5th before a judiciary committee in the infantile voice of a little girl...Is there a nation-wide speech-language disorder among white American women? Why do so many of them talk like babies?

  • Sorry, I ment retarded. She should have pulled a gun and held it like someone who knew how to use it and shot his nigger ass. I am sure he was thinking about raping her though. It is what niggers do.

  • niggers are retareded.

  • pleading the fifth should be takin away from anyone one in the judicial system,

  • @sassygirl345 its not the gov't that's corrupt, it was bush, dick, rummy, condie

the gov't is not corrupt - chaney decided to take the next step in destroying the checks and balances in the system; the first steps were from Regan (may he rot in hell)

  • we follow laws to keep order, now case in point hussein obama and the uberleft in congress and in the senate and hussein abama all do not follow the law and this is what you get, a run away gov't irresponsible gov't one that is putting our liberty at stake and complete choas, this is more racial divide today than any other time since the civil ritghts movement. and it aint coming from the right either...

  • Hey! Is this the guy that said Guam would "flip over"?

  • @jaleenasmom XD!!!

  • the judge seems very incompatent

  • lol. Assholes are pissed she's pleading the 5th. Good for her!

  • Since when does the Demorats respect the Constitution?Remember they're the ones who call the Constitution a living ,breathing document that evolves to fit our contempory life styles. The Constitution is our standard for rights,no good can come from a standard the keeps changing, that's no standard at all,but rather a parody of a standard.

  • Plead the 5th to every one of those communist Anti-American scumbags questions.

  • Are you serious? Communist? These people were involved in firing atorneys according to the greater plan of the republican party. Career and political positions alike. Go back to watching fox news you ignorant American joke.

  • @PhoenixZappa Keep drinking the Kool-Aid Obamazombie.

  • What is the 5th amendment?

  • One, two, three, fouh, fiffffffff!!!!!!!!

    Republican perspective;

    Republican witness= brave patriot

    Democrat witness= Commy hiding something.

    Democat perspective;

    Republican witness= Nazi hiding something.

Democrat witness= Constitutional genius who fully understands the rights of this country.

The sad thing is that Repubs and Dems probably only agree on one thing; the need for a third party system. Funny how our political system works.

  • kudos on using the 5th amendment.

  • did you notice.. at 1:30 in the video the so-called judge placed an order into the record without objection....she and her counsel should have posed an objection on that order... it was not presented beforhand.(thats why copies where given quickly)..being inadmisable if objected...check it out watch how he moves right along real fast...and all are stuck... without objection the 5th is waived with the order...she missed her window and got slamed in...lmao...im not even a lawyer...lmao...

  • She missed nothing and did not get slammed

    She got immunity from prosecution

    Well played

  • Maybe Conyers doesn't understand what you said Ms Goodling. Please restate your position by telling him to kiss your ass.

  • I know. The idea of this slackwit racist piece of garbage badgering this woman is disgusting.

  • He called the 5th amendment a privilege. These are the people you all have elected. Congrats.

  • Basically, from what I understand from that amount of language. Monica pleaded the fifth, and Conyers said that they have a certified order to compel her to answer, so he's saying "Up yours..."

  • well I have no idea what these congressional hearings are about. But what I do know is that the 5th is there to protect first and foremost innocent people. If the government has enough evidence to prove guilt of an individual then it should be brought forth to the grand jury.

  • Citizens have no obligation to prove their innocence. Have you ever seen any of those cop dramas where they talk to people who are somehow associated to an investigation. You have no way of knowing how the police will interprate what you say in evaluating your guilt or innocence. So I would never talk to the police/government even though I know that I won't be involved in some type of capital crime.

  • But even if I was, the government has the burden of proof in proving the guilt of an individual. Check out the videos on youtube by searching, "don't talk to the police." explicitly the lecture by the lawyer/professor who explains fully the history of the 5th and the reasons why talking to the police/government cannot ever be helpful. Just throwing that out there.

    Michael Garcia.

  • Yes, I understand that. However, if innocent, then it should stand up under the scrutiny of a congressional committee, of which I'm sure you know isn't a court of law.

  • since when is a judge more powerful than the bill of rights, that's BS

  • Frau Gertrude Linkmeyer

  • Goodling is guilty of something. I would've stopped the questioning right then and there. Then have the U.S. Marshall slap the cuffs on her, walk her out in front of everyone, embarrassing her throughly, stuff her in the car and speed her white ass to jail. Then I would have made a request to the american bar association to suspend her law license pending disbarrment procedures.

  • That's U.S. Marshal, one L.

  • Oberfeldwebel "I hear nothing, I see nothing, I know nothing!" one way trip to the Russian Front aka Frau Gertrude Linkmeyer... "never jumped the shark" You Only Live Twice

  • Huh?!

  • and what would she be charged with?

  • First, let me apologize for my sacasm in that message of 1 month ago. It's just that these government types who have knowledge of obvious criminal activity will always manipulate law so that they are guaranteed to escape justice. Now she pleaded the 5th, and the 6th amendment. Anyone who pleads the 5th is either guilty of something, or at least complicit in what the crime is. My guess is that she could be charged with obstruction of justice at the very least.

  • Or even an accessory of the crime. That is of course unless she's worked out a immunity deal with the congressional committee.

  • I wanted to send you a response but I had to be a friend so I left it on the comments sections of the video.

  • 5th amendment states that not answering the questions cannot be incriminating by itself

  • True. But only on a case by case basis,

  • It most certainly does NOT indicate guilt. It indicates that a person understands the Constitutional rights and refuses to bow to these sanctimonious, room temperature iq idiots. Good for her.

  • True. But it depends on what the facts are.

  • Let me pose this question to you. Mark Fuhrman invoked the 5th amendment in the Simpson trial when asked if he ever called blacks niggers, or regarded blacks as niggers...Was he not indicating guilt?

  • If I remember correctly, this nonsense was an attempt by the defense to get him on perjury (as if this would mean that he set OJ up??). It doesn't indicate that he was guilty of anything. Calling black people niggers is not a crime. Again, I never said it means a person isn't guilty, just that it does not indicate guilt. There are definitely examples of both.

  • Correct. Unfortunately calling blacks niggers is not a crime, but perjury is. That's the point here. He invoked the 5th amendment, but did refer to blacks as niggers. In fact he also admitted his complicity in frame ups and harassment of blacks, and mexicans as well. The Laura McKinney transcripts explicitly shows this. However, the point is that this was an example of the 5th being used to cover up multiple crimes for over a decade. In that issue it indicated guilt.

  • Fuhrman knew if he denied the veracity of the question he would have gotten literally smashed with the evidence of his interview with Laura McKinney. Hence his ducking behind the 5th amendment.

  • I see. Well I do disagree that it is 'unfortunate that it is not against the law to call blacks niggers'. We do have free speech in this country, and many blacks exercise that freedom to harass whites as well. We'd have to outlaw a lot of things for such a policy to make sense, and that's not what this country is about.

  • @NkrumahTure that is obvious because there would be no bad repercussions had he just said no, but he knew someone would testify that he did and discredit him.

  • When you've already made a deal to get immunity from prosecution and you still refuse to testify, it *indeed* shows evasiveness, if not guilt.

  • No - it just shows that she is using a Constitutional right. That's it. The law is the law and these idiotic senate hearings are not a court of law.

  • looking back. its seems like a alternate universe of corrupt dumbasses.this moron goodling had never praticed law ever, before she held the no. 3 position in the doj. are u kidding me?!?!?!?!

  • monia you bitch. how do you like the last election. i hope the new president throws

    your ass in jail

  • WTF is wrong with her? How can she plead the 5th if she's already been granted immunity from prosecution? Nothing she says can be used against her so she can't possibly self incriminate herself. Isn't she a lawyer? Doesn't she understand this most basic tenant of law? What part of the word "immunity" did she not understand?

  • She graduated from Regent University Law School. What makes you think she understands anything about the law? The Bush administration is infested with these unqualified political operatives. And they all do a heckuva job!

  • That place should surround any thing referring to them as "law school" with quotes.

  • You have a point, 345. Under the Military Commissions Act, those labeled "enemy combatants" - i.e. any non Christian Conservative that go so far as to displease the White House - can be stripped of the 5th.
