A very nice render, my only qualm is that in a 3d render of a house, why is it every single aspect of the living quarters appears impeccable, even the cushions arranged to perfection, whereas in the kitchen a cloth is strewn over the side of the counter? I understand the desire to show off the usage of the cloth physics is probably a likely case, but I think it's an amateur mistake to try and draw attention to it in this manner. If that cloth wasn't placed there, it would be a lot better,

Great modeling, great lighting. Im sure Im not the first to notice the noise on the carpet during the animation. Do you know if that stems from final gather points not being properly cast from the camera or just the material itself?

@cavejelly the noise on the carpet may be due to a procedural map being used in the material. If not configured properly, procedural materials will give noise during animations as it doesn't 'bake in' the textures, it generates a new one for each render. If you render a rotating box with a procedural map, you may notice it looks like the box has varying degrees of transparency rotating over a static layer, which is the procedural. Possibly, not saying it is (:

@suicidaljoyride I think probably an External Renderer. Try LuxRender. It's free but it takes a while to learn. I'm not sure if it workds with 3DS but it works with Blender.

@TOW3L1E glad i can help you. there some architectural stuff too on youtube floating around, i havent dwell deep into them but just type in 3ds max architectural and you should find inner & outter designs. This guy has a few good videos eternal3lade . also dont get discouraged when you go over the basics. it seems mediocre at first but in the long run you find out its essential, this video here mustve taken a few days just to render on a normal quad core pc. google render if u dk wat it is
