Lookup ocilloscope software, you can use you sound card. I use software version and real one, they each have their advantages. see the zelscope or other software versions.
How frightening that while searching Bedini videos, I've come across this gentleman hot-gluing each strand of wire to a plastic funnel. Have you considered wrapping a puppy in a bathmat? Or perhaps you could try setting a fire by rubbing your shoelaces together? Clearly, the time available to you to persue, and then to proudly share a video of same, leaves one uneasy.
thank you! but! i don't think that the homemade pc oscilloscope can handle the radiant spikes! i have heard that it can crash the sound card! and i have only one to spare! do you know of one that will work?

Fuck the oscilliscope use a AM radio and go out from there into the computer or just use your ear. Or you can use a cap to kill the spikes.

hey man, wtg!! Very good work. You can find a oscilliscope for your computer that is free on the net. Cheaper way to go for a scope.
