Knifingh in this game is a joke... you can hold your M249 triger for 2 sec firing in enemy torso but he still will run closer and make 3m jump to knife You. RIDICULUS. In true world knifing make You volnurable and is handy only in stealt scenario. Im so happy BF3 will come back to realistic approach.
ye i know. still a good game though better than most FPS games out there due to its versitility. When i use to own BFBC2 on my old pc which broke, it worked 50 times better though. guess their mainly built for PC's. new BF3 beta was horse shit but im hoping the actual game will be good. just hoping.

Apparently the giant conquest map that you need a password for and has jets and so on is like sex or something.

The reason I don't play normal is because everytime you kill someone it shows where you are, it shows your bullet count, your health regenerates, you have a damn live map. That takes the whole fun out of the game. you might as well go play COD lol.

I've never had a problem killing my opponents in normal mode since generally only high level competitive gamers have better aim than me (you can watch my Quake videos if you think I'm boasting). I also have no problem in HC since my reaction speed is faster than most.
@NoirYorkCity But the skill gap gets lowered too since people don't need to aim as well to get a kill, thus HC attracts a bad crowd, kinda like Instagib/OHKO game modes that many games have which are also populated by noobs. That fact also forces the game to slow down quite a bit (read: makes it "campy") and makes for what is, in my Quake based opinion, highly boring gameplay. Quick thinking and trained twitch aim makes for rawer FPS skill than a slow campy push.

Normal mode is "Your game on a silver platter" Everyone is a bullet sponge and lit up like a fricken Christmas tree. Most common cause of death? 10 enemies all firing at you at once. In Hc most common cause of death? Camping. *Tags* YOINK!

Having played MW, MW2 and Black Ops online it seems that the style you describe is often the winning formula there and frankly while every style of play is valid, I prefer to win without playing like a n00b.

This mean that basically the ability to sustain incoming fire for longer also enables you to sustain your fire on your target relatively safely. Its not that hard to stay on target (unless he manages to get to cover) it just takes longer to kill. In HC, you make one wrong move, you're dead. You have to be quick, know your spots, check your corners and be fast on the draw

Normal takes 1/2 to full clip for most assault guns/SMGs. Try it on a standing target and count ur ammo.

Doesn't change the fact that I'd wipe the floor with even the best controller user if I use a mouse, and a skilled mouse user is more likely to dominate a bad mouse user than a skilled controller user is to dominate a bad controller user. That's because the relative skill gap is bigger and so is the skill ceiling, which is also why people who can't frag you in normal can in hardcore.
@jeppewie1206 It's not so much one-hit melee that sucks as it is one-button-press-no-need-to-equip-melee-instakill-weapon that sucks. In BF2 the knife killed in one hit, but you had to actually equip it first. It was fine then (as long as the hitreg didn't screw you over).
Once I got a 14 kill knife streak, I was dropped by a black hawk when it was shot down, I ran in a building, and then a crapton of the opposing team came to where the chopper was, and I hid in a corner and waited... they came into the building, I knifed most of them, I couldn't stop laughing through half of the match lol
@Rimmer7 The knifing is that they used a 1 hit one knife style instead of 1 knife and then keep the knife out and it goes for a more 'cinematic style' with a half step lunge that takes way too long to be effective in a straight fight but oddly allows you to turn around 120 degrees mid knife to hit people who run past you.
just in a squad deatmatch, the idiots kept spawning at each other while is just spammed my knife at them, and since there weren't enabled killcam, they just kept doing that and they thought it was a bug XD

@CommanderDaz While I was playing I'd occasionally have these moments by the M-COM stations either attacking or defending where there would be craploads of enemies just stacked up or running in at once. I'd throw a pack of C4 and get 4-5 kills all at once. Didn't happen too often, but when it did it was fucking sweet.
@ZomBLord Really the hardest part about shooting the pilot out of a chopper is getting a good angle. Once you get a good angle you're pretty much go. I've shot them down with bolt action, semi auto (took 2 headshots) and even one with the medic LMG. Not sure whether or not I did it with an assault gun. Been a very long time since I played.
@Rimmer7 I think I shot a total of...19 pilots I guess, and 1 of them was with a noobtube (lol?), one of them with lmg and one with slug round, Which im now getting pretty good at, African shotteh + slug = win :3

Never managed to get a good enough angle to shoot attack chopper pilots. I did manage to shoot a couple down simply by shooting them so many times they exploded, though. XD
@Rimmer7 Well if you want to see a good sniper polit shot follow the link a vid of mine. The shot will be 3:38 seconds in. I had a bette one on Isla Innocentes, but wasn't recording that night :( It was deep too. The chooper was just leaving the base and was high enough over the hill for me to get a shot on it. I was sniping from our first set of m-com station. I had to aim so high that some of the chopper was out of my scope. I hate not catching things like that on the recorder.
@twicon Oh, and by the way, you can hook up your big-ass shiny HDTV to your computer and use it as a monitor. Hell, you can even plug in your Xbox controller. Not sure why you'd want to gimp your FPS gaming experience with fake 120Hz, a bunch of input lag and platformer controls, but if that's your thing, go ahead.

Once I got a 14 kill knife streak, I was dropped by a black hawk when it was shot down, I ran in a building, and then a crapton of the opposing team came to where the chopper was, and I hid in a corner and waited... they came into the building, I knifed most of them, I couldn't stop laughing through half of the match lol

@Rimmer7 The knifing is that they used a 1 hit one knife style instead of 1 knife and then keep the knife out and it goes for a more 'cinematic style' with a half step lunge that takes way too long to be effective in a straight fight but oddly allows you to turn around 120 degrees mid knife to hit people who run past you.

just in a squad deatmatch, the idiots kept spawning at each other while is just spammed my knife at them, and since there weren't enabled killcam, they just kept doing that and they thought it was a bug XD

@CommanderDaz While I was playing I'd occasionally have these moments by the M-COM stations either attacking or defending where there would be craploads of enemies just stacked up or running in at once. I'd throw a pack of C4 and get 4-5 kills all at once. Didn't happen too often, but when it did it was fucking sweet.

@ZomBLord Really the hardest part about shooting the pilot out of a chopper is getting a good angle. Once you get a good angle you're pretty much go. I've shot them down with bolt action, semi auto (took 2 headshots) and even one with the medic LMG. Not sure whether or not I did it with an assault gun. Been a very long time since I played.

@Rimmer7 I think I shot a total of...19 pilots I guess, and 1 of them was with a noobtube (lol?), one of them with lmg and one with slug round, Which im now getting pretty good at, African shotteh + slug = win :3

Never managed to get a good enough angle to shoot attack chopper pilots. I did manage to shoot a couple down simply by shooting them so many times they exploded, though. XD

@Rimmer7 Well if you want to see a good sniper polit shot follow the link a vid of mine. The shot will be 3:38 seconds in. I had a bette one on Isla Innocentes, but wasn't recording that night :( It was deep too. The chooper was just leaving the base and was high enough over the hill for me to get a shot on it. I was sniping from our first set of m-com station. I had to aim so high that some of the chopper was out of my scope. I hate not catching things like that on the recorder.

Not sure why you'd want to gimp your FPS gaming experience with fake 120Hz, a bunch of input lag and platformer controls, but if that's your thing, go ahead.
