  • I think it's perfectly right to eat dolphins. dolphins are rapists.

  • I wish the material from this show was on any of his DVDs. He did so many great jokes that aren't found anywhere else--especially this one. Just genius. (And yes, Louis, I say that knowing full well what "genius" really means.)

  • he ripped off denis leary.

  • @scrambledpenis It's impossible to rip of Dennis Leary, a man so irreverently devoid of his own material, that if you rip him off there's a chance somewhere that you'll be ripping yourself off.

  • That is life.

Survival of the fittest is the highest law in many aspects of our lives.

So fuck yeah I'm gonna eat meat.

  • I eat meat simply because I don't feel that sorry for animals I haven't cuddled with personally. I think 90% of meat eaters are the same, but feel they have to sugarcoat it somehow because, face it, that really is a pretty shitty justification.

    BRB, delicious bacon.

  • Food tastes better to me if it probably suffered and had feeling before ending up on my plate. Mmm mmmm dolphin.

  • Dolphins are like raisins!

  • Why not eat humans? I don't really see the difference...

Tuna and dolphins don't enjoy the same level of sentience, which is the distinction we use to value human life, or so I thought.

Another good approach to evaluating the problems of such killings is to see how big on an impact it has on the preservation of the species, bio diversity and the eco system as a whole, on which we humans are dependent, btw.

  • @playgrrrr We see our species as the only important lifeform on the planet. Biodiversity is not respected until it poses a direct threat to humans, rather than having its own inherent value.

  • @cafeaulait69 I agree here.

  • @playgrrrr this argument doesn't stand up because there are certain kinds of humans who don't enjoy the level of sentience that a dolphin experiences ie neurologicallly damaged humans, embryos, coma victims they still are given rights. No sentience isn't the reason we value human life, we value human life because we are speciesist. We do not respect the right to life and freedom from suffering for other species.

  • @cafeaulait69 >this argument doesn't stand up because there are certain kinds of humans who don't enjoy the level of sentience that a dolphin experiences< So what if aliens come around then, do we eat them, since sentience is not the criteria? It's the best criterion I can come up with, but just as you point out it would lead to some possibly unpleasant truths. Do you have something better to replace it though? (cont)

  • @cafeaulait69 (cont) The only thing I can think of to tackle this problem would be to go by potential sentience (of species instead of of individual), so that degenerate individuals are still included. But I'm not very happy with such arbitrary categories such as species when discussing intellect and the value of life. >because we are speciesist< It's what people do. I'm saying that I don't accept such narrow-mindedness (compare to racism) though. What if sentient aliens came along?

  • YOu eat them not because you dont care if its wrong, but because you arent strong enough to NOT do it. We are weak when it comes to things that are rreallllly good.

  • I typically don't eat anything I think I could establish a relationship with. Dogs, pigs maybe.... horses for sure. Maybe a lamb, not a cow, and certainly not a chicken or turkey. And ducks? I will give them a chance, but they always try to borrow money.

  • I wish all people who ate meat would just admit what he just did. The only real justification is that you do not care enough to not eat meat and eating one animal is not morally better than eating another.

  • @sonson88 That's not true though. Why don't we eat humans, which are animals too? Or other primates, or why is the practice to eat pets not so wide-spread?

We largely make a distinction based on sentience here... and not all animals are equally sentient/able to experience and think about the world.

  • @playgrrrr We don't eat humans because that is insane, first of all. Cannibalism would create a myriad of health problems, second. And third, why would we eat humans? We do not eat primates because it hasnt been ingrained in our culture and they are less abundant in numbers. We sure as hell do not have a problem doing cruel experimentation on them though. All animals are not all equally sentient, right, whats your point? Animals less evolved than us must suffer because we decided they should?

  • @sonson88 =We don't eat humans because that is insane, first of all.= Solid reasoning right there, my friend. =Cannibalism would create a myriad of health problems= Plenty of species engage in cannibalism with no problems whatsoever. Furthermore, while there are some diseases which can be contracted only (or are more likely to) be contracted via cannibalism (of specific bodyparts), there is nothing inherently unhealthy about it.

  • @sonson88 And the point is that sentience has two effects: one, the more sentient a being is, the more susceptible it is to experience of any kind, including pain, and, the more sentient a being is, the more it is invested in (aware of) its own life and future and thus stands to lose more by death than less sentient beings. These are the only things I can think of to serve as basis to view the killing of any one individual as morally questionable, as opposed to value-neutral.

  • @sonson88 If you talk about large scale farming then there are factors such as genetic diversity and ecological impact to consider as well. But life has no inherent value, because nothing has inherent value by nature. "Because it's insane" is not just bad reasoning, it's a completely unfounded assumption, it's nothing but your opinion, which can serve as no basis for any kind of meaningful discussion. You have to invest a lot more effort and thought than that if you want to have one.

  • @playgrrrr You're getting caught up on one comment of mine. How do you answer a stupid question? With a stupid answer. We're not talking about eating humans. Just because an animal cannot experience life with the capacity that humans do, still does not justify killing them. Do you know how intricate and sensitive the bodies of pigs, cows and chickens are? Take a biology course. My issue is with pain. They feel pain. "Life has no inherent value"--Hey look speaking of opinions!

  • @sonson88 Pain? I mentioned pain. I talked about pain. You just ignored it.

  • @sonson88 Human's are apex predators. Eating an animal is our evolved right. Don't you think antelopes feel pain when a pack of lionesses bring them down? The point is, who gives a shit? They're beneath us in the food chain.

  • @blackholedreams evolution is a constant process, we evolved to be hunter gatherers, that lifestyle ended 10,000 years ago, with population explosion, oil depletion, if humans do not give up their dependencies on animal products we will not survive. So we need to evolve again a food source which is sustainable.

  • @blackholedreams If you are living as a non-human in the wild killing free roaming animals to survive your argument stands up. But you eat animals who live on factory farmed meat full of growth hormones and saturated fat. The health budget for disease linked to animal products is also un- sustainable. Also humans who are not psychopathic do not want to inflict unecessary suffering on another being ie humans have moral, emphathy and philosophical standards.

  • @blackholedreams Animals kill for SURVIVAL not mere gluttony or laziness, they don't over consume or get sick from their diet so your comparison is inaccurate.

  • @cafeaulait69 >Animals kill for SURVIVAL not mere gluttony or laziness< Not saying that this is my position, but for the sake of argument it could be said that gluttony and laziness are part of the culture we evolved to enable our survival/position of dominance.

  • yukit91 clearly a north korean

  • This segment is such a nice display of his raw, unfiltered honesty about himself and humans in general. There isn't a dishonest, unfunny bone in his body

  • "If you're a tuna... fuck you we're eating you" ROOOFFL

  • I dont get why the same logic can't apply on dogs.

just to be clear, i have never ever eaten a dog but if i get a chance,i probably would go for it. i mean, how hypocrite the way western community thinks that eating dogs is a sin but eating others like chicken or cow is totally fine.

if,say, those stupid pandas go extinct, you guys will be like "awwww" and cry a river but if cockroaches go extinct, i bet you guys are gonna pop champagnes..

both are creatures that YOUR god has created.

  • "I will pose a question. If we as animals, eat other animals, why don't we eat each other ? A fit young human would be tasty, and lets face it, good hunting !!!"

    Eduard Khil

  • @Canoodle4Yoodle

    Too much fat!

  • @Canoodle4Yoodle There's a fundamental flaw in that quote—for the most part, animals do not engage in cannibalism. Sure, animals do sometimes eat members of their own species, but that's only in extreme circumstances—chimpanzees will eat the young of another clan, rodents will eat their young if they are unable to protect them from predators, lions will eat the young of another pride. All for survival, and not a standard practice. The standard practice is to eat the meat of another species.

  • @cosmicphoto05 WTF animals don't engage in cannibalism, I've fed my chickens an omelette made from their own eggs this morning.

  • @iameatingjam well to be fair that's not cannibalism unless the eggs were fertilized. That's more like a fishing a woman's menstruations out of the toilet and feeding them to her.

  • Are there really that many people as stupid as this guy on video? A tuna is a fish. A dolphin is a mammal. Humans can digest fish easy (for the most part), but mammals are extremely tough on the body's digestive system. I thought this was common knowledge, but looks like there are still lots of sixth grade dropouts in comedy clubs

  • @drystyx Louis CK is amazing. I'm sorry that you don't like the taste of dolphins.

  • @drystyx Yep, yourself included!

  • @drystyx you are all alone on this one, but your with stupid. xDDD

You MISSED POINT of this video. This video is not about fish or mammals, but about how some people think that certain food is wrong to eat just because it looks cute or has eyes or something. And the rule is: "if it tastes good, i dont care, i eat it!!" Seems like im not that smart either, because i wasted my time to explain it to you. So madam go suck a bag of dicks!!!

p.s. i eat mammals all my life, and have no problem with it

  • @ShimmyNS

No, it's about how he doesn't care about anything but his own stomach-- that's why it's funny, he's being brutally honest.

  • @SovereignStatesman you are right, i wonted to say that, but finished blabing about vegans etc

  • @drystyx Aw shit, you serious? Mammals are tough to digest and we shouldn't eat them. I swear I will never touch another hamburger.

  • @ijuhat hamburgers arent mammals, theyre food

  • Mike tyson LOL

  • @BEANDRUMXXX Now what's so bad about pussies?

  • @BEANDRUMXXX haha nonvegans are pussies?

  • @leshitbiscuit I have kinda of love hate relationship with it. Now learn to eat meat and shut the fuck up.

  • @leshitbiscuit All vegans are retarded. How can you not like meat, it's been apart of our evolutionary history for millions of years, our ancestors ate meat to survive and so do I. Your fucking the human race up with your vegan lifestyle you fag. Fuck you and your faggy vegan band.

  • Every vegan i know is pale, thin and always sick, lol

  • @goodvibesallround I'm vegan, thin, and pale. I was thin and pale before I was vegan, too. I'm never, ever sick, though. I also happen to be the palest and thinnest vegan I know, and no vegan I've ever met is always sick.

For examples of vegans, see: Andre 3000, Ellen Degeneres, Woody Harrelson, Carl Lewis (Olympic athlete), Mike Tyson, Weird Al, Steve-O, Olivia Wilde, Moby, and Ian MacKaye.

Not saying you should go vegan -- just please get over the stereotype.

  • Can you believe this top comment ranting about vegetarianism, it's a stand up bit you cunt.. I think pick out "sense of humor" before eating tuna stupid bitch.

  • Comment removed

  • People who try to make a serious point through a comedian's stand-up act miss the whole point of comedy.

  • There's no arguing with vegetarians. Their morons, like religious fundamentalists, they've got this weird little belief that puts them in a minority, that they think makes them special and it doesn't matter how wrong they are, they're completely deluded.

  • @GnomesAmok I think you mean "They're morons". "Their" implies they own morons. You fuckin' moron.

  • it's not wrong to consume living things. that's how we sustain our lives. we're not like friggin plants where we can use photosynthesis to create energy.

  • HAHA LET'S KILL ALL OF THESE PIGS!

    oh nooooooo not the dolphins.

  • dolphin meat is poisonous to us because of its high mercury content. thats why we don't eat it. however in japan, dolphin meat is sold as whale meat, so people think that they're eating whale meat when they are eating poisonous dolphin meat.

also most species of whales are critically endangered so yeah, hunting either whale or dolphins in my opinion is wrong.

  • if you're a tuna .. fuck you, we're eating you

  • Hitler was a vegetarian ... look it up .

  • @whillop

    So what?

  • @kaa3164 I guess you have a point ... Just because your mom & her brother conceived you on the floor of a filthy gas station mens room , it does not mean that you'll do the same thing .

  • @whillop

Bad childhood memories popping up you psychopath?

"hitler was a herpa derp" makes you a moron and this reply makes you a psychopathic kid.

I don't doubt that if you haven't already, you will make some fucked up crime in near future you freak.

And hitler was a human, let's all kill ourselves unless we were born from incest on a gas station.

Did I mention that you're a moronic psychopath.

You're like the retard in movies that kills people.

  • @kaa3164 You write like a retarded third grader on meth .

  • @whillop

    Not really.

You write like a "person" who doesn't have anything better to say than some pathetic empty insult.

Because you know I'm right about you being a psychopath. :)

  • @kaa3164 I only insult ignorant pieces of shit .

  • @whillop

And as you so very clearly failed to insult me, you're the ignorant piece of shit.

God damn, all I said was so what because you are stupid enough to think your first comment matters at all and you go on this retarded rampage.

You're not only a moron and a psychopath, you fucking scum to.

  • @kaa3164 To paraphrase Louie himself : When you were being born , somebody walking by the delivery room , looked in and said , " Hey , there's a cunt , coming out of a cunts' cunt " .

  • @whillop

Well you're still exactly as original as you were before.

I'm sure you don't understand because you're a moron and I'm also sure that you're trolling.

  • @kaa3164 Haahahahahahaaaaah !!!! You are a fucking genius !

  • @kaa3164 Weeeeelll there's alot of things wrong here. I mean... I generally agree with you here but you use words like "retarded" as an insult. I personally dont take offense to that but I know theres people who do, yet you're calling him scum 'cause he made you feel angry or offended or whatever so.. y'know... everything's perspective buddy. :)

  • @biglilnicky

Well, I have to agree with you about the "retarded" insult, it's not a very good one but it's a strong one.

I guess it's more of an expression than an insult.

I called him scum because it's a very good word, it describes the filth of community very well.

Well I wasn't offended and I won't say I was angry but I admit it's enough to make me pretty hostile.

I just found it pretty outrageous how simply put socially unacceptable that was.

In it's own nature, not personally.

  • @kaa3164 Thankyou for replying rationally, thats rare on youtube :) All I meant by my comment really was that you're lowering yourself by getting agitated. You're not going to change him and there's DEFINATELY far better things you could be doing with your time :) And i do agree with you about the retarded thing. When people say it no one actually means "You are a handicapped person and you're less than me because of it". It's just like saying "You're a dick" but more colorful :P

  • @biglilnicky

haha I agree, I often feed the trolls intentionally, subconsciously even sometimes I think but when I get tired of fighting I just accept the fact that there is absolutely no way someone is going to say "hey, you're right and I'm wrong, have a nice day".

  • Did he steal the dolphin in the tuna Bit from Dennis Leary or was it the other way around ? Or did they steal it from an older comedian ? Or does it just so happen 2 comedians have a joke about dolphins and tuna and nobody is stealing anything ?

  • @WestCoastPCbuilder Reference to Dane Cook eh? I enjoyed that episode of Louie where they confronted each other.

  • This is interesting. I'm a vegan and I agree with him that the lines we draw between other animals are arbitrary. I do wonder, however, if Louie is serious when he says all animal slaughter is terrible. I certainly don't know Louie personally, but if his show on FX is any indication this is a man with a very fine-tuned sense of morality and justice. I think he would support the efforts of animal rights activists if the philosophy was accurately explained to him. Keep being funny Louie.

  • Louis also advocates fucking monkies, so his stand-up is hardly a credo to live your life by. I have a suspicion that it's a comedy routine and should be taken as such.

  • My man's gross tho

  • Lets be honest, if you wanted to see the extended version on youtube, you'd have to search Rudy Powser and check out sheer pandemonium.

  • dolphins are so intelligent that they get caught in the same nets that the tuna we eat get caught in.

  • Louis CK is the reincarnation of George Carlin. Not in a superstitious metaphysical sense but he's really really good.

  • I am against all dolphin killers but dolphin is the best meat ever so tender in you ever go to a jap meat dealer ask for the special meat

  • !!!volume warning!!!

  • Dane Cook was awful nice to film this with his handheld camera for us

  • @HGWJay Dane Cook is terribly untalented. Louis CK is genius and he's totally kidding about eating dolphin, but I really don't care if an eskimo or a Japanese person wants to consume a marine mammal. I would eat killer whale meat in a second.

  • @HGWJay

LOL! I was sitting next to him and thought he might want to keep it for his private collection as studymaterial and to perhaps...steal it.

  • @HGWJay Carlos Mencia was probably sitting next to him taking notes for his next show

  • I wish it was longer.

  • I completely disagree with him, but still think it's funny as hell, you don't have to have the same views as someone to appreciate their opinion.

  • I'm a vegan. And I laughed at this. We aren't all douchebags hahah

  • @DamonXwells Me too.

  • people who make long articulate comment responses on youtube make me want to fucking kill myself. i'm with louis on this one, its definately wrong in my eyes, it just tastes too good to care.

  • pigs are smart, and I'll eat the shit outta some bacon.

  • 1. the spices make it taste good, the meat itself stinks if raw

    2. it's not just abstract morality, it'll cause an energy and environmental crisis. think how much animals we go through in a ifetime, and how much resources they each consume themselves. It's not sustainable for 7 billion + humans.

    3. this meat'll prolly guve u colon cancer also...

    ...not worth a shitty joke

  • "Why not kill and eat a dolphin?" Because there's a shit ton of mercury in it.

  • It's a funny joke, but you really shouldn't eat dolphins. Firstly they are very bad for you, you can mercury poisoning. Secondly the japanese slaughter of dolphins is utterly barbaric. And thirdly dolphins are very smart animals.

  • @Appypollylodgies well, the dolphins vagina is very similar to a human's, so its not that different.

wait, that wasnt what you meant, was it?

  • @Tarudizer Honestly, how could you ever link that to dolphin vaginas? 2 out of every 3 dolphins have at least 1 dolphawhale baby. Whales are raping dolphins for gods sake! Who said anything about vaginas? pff!

  • @Appypollylodgies Japanese have been eating dolphin for years and have the number one average life expectancy in the world so you don't know that it's bad for you. Secondly, how else would you say is a more humane way of killing dolphins? Why is it not ok to eat dophins because they are smart? What difference does that make? I don't eat dolphins but look at yourself before you judge anyone else. How is eating cow meat different from eating dolphin meat?

  • what show is this??

  • y r they laughing after every word? not that funny

  • YES! YES!

  • I eat meat and I'm happy. Vegans always seem crabby and angry... fuck that shit, I'll eat what the fuck I feel happy eating! Not going to chose to be a miserable fuck!

  • @BostonUrbEx

I'm vegetarian, and I could care less what other people choose to eat. It's a personal decision, and for the vegetarians/vegans out there who give us a bad name by lecturing people about eating meat - they're few and far between, they just seem like the majority because they're so obnoxious about it. Not everyone has the money to afford a vegetarian diet, many people's bodies can't live like that, and it's ridiculous to expect everyone to live up to these standards.

  • @flameow152 It's "couldn't care less". "Could care less" makes no sense in that context. It's suggesting that you DO care, and could care less.

  • @georgepowell72 you could care less is saying you dont care much, you couldnt care less is saying your indifferent. it still makes sense

  • @flameow152 live *up* to these standards? Are you kidding me? Get off your moral high horse.

  • Comment removed

  • @flameow152 Furthermore, a vegan diet is NOT exspensive. Sure, if you buy a lot of processed foods your going to have to spend a few extra bucks, but shopping in the produce section and buying things like nuts, legumes, and whole grains is one of the cheapest things you can do and it's ALL vegan. People often forget that meat is only cheap because it is heavily subsidized by the government. As for health, check out the American Dietetic Association's position on vegetarian diets.

  • @flameow152 The ratio is actually the opposite of what you state. You sound like a meat eater who is trying to sound more credible by pretending to be a vegetarian, or a weak vegetarian who feels social guilt for it. Meat contains nothing people need that can't be found in a better format from plant material, and there is no normal human for whom vegetarianism or veganism is not a great deal more conducive to health and the abatement of sickness and disease. It also costs far less, not more.

  • @NodrogTrax Cool story bro, tell it again while I eat this delicious burger.

  • @Basskay You are as creative as you are insightful.

You are right though, generic, witless taunting is always an effective tactic against science and reason. It always catches reasonable people out, because they are so reasonable, right? You should be an evangelical; it would suit your intellectual sensibilities.

  • @NodrogTrax I'm not here to debate, I'm here to laugh. And what makes you any better than an evangelical? Here you are telling me why I shouldn't eat meat the same way an Evangelical would tell me I should follow Jesus. Same shit, different cause.

  • @Basskay There's no debate here with regard to the video. I sympathize with your post-literacy, but go ahead and read a few comments back. I was not concerned with the content of CK's typically brilliant material, and was merely correcting some of many common misconceptions about vegetarianism expressed in a comment. You are the one who first offered the inane closed-ended attempt to invalidate the very idea of being informed about a subject, which was the anti-intellectualism I referred to.

  • @NodrogTrax Well, that's your perception. I did not reject your ideas, in fact I think you're mostly right, except for the part about it being cheaper, since my vegetarian stepbrother had to stop being vegetarian because he couldn't afford it, I'm simply pointing out that I, and probably many other people here, could not give less of a fuck.

  • @Basskay Well, it is not your charge to regulate what you think others will be interested in conversationally. Since I didn’t invent the subject, and was only expounding on it, your notion that it isn’t relevant must be misguided. If you were really so indifferent, you wouldn't have felt the need to leave a glib, childish rejoinder, so it's more likely you hold some guilt about it.

If we can agree that your initial comment was ill-conceived and fruitless, we can wash our hands of this.

  • @flameow152

I eat meat and I completely agree. Win comment is a winner.

  • @flameow152 so some are too poor to not eat meat?? omg, just eat wheat, instead of meat

  • @flameow152 the fact you consider them "standards" and something that "some people can't afford and can't live with (code word for 'handle')" is just MORE of that smug bullshit us CARNIVORES are getting tired of hearing from you malnourished hippies.

As if some bean sprouts are more expensive than a nice cut of steak... Yeah right. Seems like your diet is starting to affect your reasoning.

All responding will do is get you put on the menu, so don't.

  • @n0s1r A lot of pre-packaged vegetarian/vegan food is expensive, but yeah, the way I eat isn't expensive at all so it always confuses me when people say being veggie/vegan is pricey.

However, flameow152 didn't say omnivores can't handle vegetarian lifestyles (read it again). S/he means people's bodies function better on meat. We are, after all, meant to eat it. So if a body-builder wants to go vegetarian, he can keep his muscle mass, but it will take a hell of a lot more work than if hadn't.

  • @flameow152 Shut the fuck up.

  • @flameow152 how long have you been a vegetarian? Because I used to think like that, but people actually lecture me for choosing not to eat meat so much that now, when i see someone eat a steak. i just want to slap 'em in the face. With a chair.

oh, and a vegetarian/vegan diet is totally affordable for everyone (unless you don't have money to eat at all in the first place lol)

  • I wouldn't eat meat.... if it didn't taste so good.

But it's filling and has protein, so maybe i would.

I love living animals too, so cute!

    But they taste good.... confusing.

  • I just came here to downvote all the crazy vegans.

  • so what that it's wrong?! that's not a justification at all, dumbfuck

  • How funny and awesome. I don't eat meat, and haven't eaten meat for well over half a decade, but for a looong time before, I used to eat a LOT of meat - and my reasoning behind eating meat was EXACTLY what LCK explained here. lol . . . Funny as shit. It's wrong, but fuck it. Now, of course, I can no longer just ignore this understanding, but it's still funny as hell how he explained it. :) lol

  • To all those who think that we can justify eating animals because they eat each other: animals rape each other, too, so is rape justified? Your logic is shite.

  • @PeaceableKingdom100 yes it is. now what?

  • @adrienspawn Reduce or cut out consumption of animal products for the environment, people, the animals and your health. Check out chooseveg dawt calm for info and resources!

  • @PeaceableKingdom100What's killing the environment isn't eating meat. People have been doing that for millions of years. It's overpopulation. Basically people should stop having kids or kill themselves. I'll keep on eating meat because it's fucking yummy and is healthy for bodybuilders.

  • @PeaceableKingdom100 It's totally different. Animals don't eat other animals out of the evilness of their soul, they eat animals because they were born to do so. Just like humans. We have maxillary canine teeth to tear meat, because we were born to be omnivores. I completely respect your decision to become vegetarian, but I don't enjoy the elitism you put forth.

  • @megnmoon You RESPECT the decision of veg*ans not to participate in a system of brutal suffering, exploitation and murder? Gee, thanks. Your comment on teeth is entirely false: LOTS of herbivores have canines, too, for tearing into nut shells, fruits and so on. It's beside the point anyhow: We're also designed for sex and aggression, does that justify rape and murder? You can list the same tired old points all day, you're still going nowhere. Google 'defensive omnivore bingo' and follow along.

  • @PeaceableKingdom100 Of course we're designed for sex how else would we be able to propagate the species? And how exactly are we aggressive, humans have no natural defenses. I'm just not following your logic, are you saying we should all castrate ourselves? It's basic instinct to fuck and fight, animals rape and murder all the time. That other guy's point was that humans are born with the natural instinct to eat both meat and vegetables, nobodys born a fucking vegetarian. Stupid fucking hippies.

  • @megnmoon And elitist? You know what's elitist? Refusing to respect the rights of other beings who can't defend themselves. No non-human has EVER willingly given themselves up to be enslaved and murdered. It's might makes right, as ugly as it's ever been down through history, and meat-eating has always been associated with oppressors, especially the rich. The poor could never afford it in most countries. Watch the trailer for the film Forks Over Knives. It's going to change everything.

  • @PeaceableKingdom100 Ugh, I don't even know why I replied. You're gonna think what you're gonna think, and I'm gonna think what I'm gonna think. Thanks for the chat.

  • Vegetarians are hilarious. *eats a burger*

  • You're all fucking retarded.

  • to be honest, if humans dident start eating red meat or any meat at all we would have never gained the amounts of protein we needed for our brains to become what we are. (a dominant species that is SMART) think about it, have you ever seen a smart herbivore? and i dont mean smart like knows what a predator looks like smart. i mean problem solving smart. the only really smart plant eater is a elephant...for some odd reason lol. but carnivores are ALWAYS smarter. hence the phrase sly as a fox ;)

  • @DiegoTheJackal You're absolutely right that our adaptation to an omnivorous diet most likely played a vital role in the development of our large brains and high intelligence, but that was many thousands of years ago (before agriculture and domestication). Today, it's a question of economics and sustainability. More than any other animal, humans' diets, as well as our lifestyles and behavior, require variety. A varied diet that does not include meat does a fine job at keeping us well nourished.

  • @DiegoTheJackal exactly, dude. our primitive brains would not have developed as they had without the mass protein consumption of first insects (80%+ protein) then meat. And if all of you vegans here wanna piss and moan about cruelty to animals then stop wearing make-up and using all the other shit you use daily that are first tested on animals before being released to the public. Funny how some vegan chick will whine about the poor animals yet plaster her face with make-up, lol ;-P

  • to be honest, carnivores are ALWAYS smarter the herbivores. if we dident start consuming red meat and meat its self we wouldent have gotten the amout of protein it takes to be where we are at today as a species of animal. we are what we are (smart and strong) because we evolved to eat red meat and all meat. whens the last time you saw a smart cow? or smart wildabeast? never. but ill tell you one thing. foxes are smart. and so are birds of prey. why? they EAT MEAT.

  • @myRealLifeNickname awww are you a vegetarian?

  • dear vegetarians,

do you know what animals do to each other?

  • Meat is murder.

  • Louis is describing, in his raw honest style, infantile hedonism. Infantile hedonism is how most humans operate, though its consequences are particularly dramatic in consumerist societies like the USA. If you're wondering why we live in such a fucked up, filthy, ravaged and dying world, there's a healthy chunk of your answer.

  • @PeaceableKingdom100 Thank you. I have yet to watch the documentary that your username is named after. Is it a good one?

  • @JaredHutcheson1 I saw a rough draft of it 3 years ago. It's been on the festival circuit for nearly 2 years now. Ugh. That said, it's a stirring, deeply emotional and very accessible piece that will open a lot of eyes. Definitely worth the wait. The trailer is on YouTube. It's as powerful as the trailer suggests. Cheers.

  • hey im gonna kill your dog, even though i know it's wrong, because i dont care it's wrong.
