@ConiferTreez i agree with the physical part, but he does not have the leadership jordan and magic had, he does not have as great of a jumpshot as jordan had and he is not that much more athletic than jordan, if at all. also his defense was not as good as the one of jordan, who is in my opinion the greatest, with much respect to players like wilt and magic. so as athlete, yes he was awesome, but a player is more than his power.

Obviously he never had the mindset or else we'd be talking about him as one of the greats, but as far as the other potential superstars of his era go, he was at the top of the list. More athletic/powerful than Iverson/Marbury/etc., by a large margin. I was just saying that Baron, in my opinion, is the biggest waste of talent in NBA history.

Had he not torn his ACL in college (poor conditioning because he's a lazy bonehead idiot), or had he learned from the injury & straightened up his mindset, he could have easily been the greatest PG to ever play the game. He was brutishly powerful, like fullback type power, and he was lightning quick with jaw-dropping vert to boot. Truly a one-of-a-kind athlete.
