I am very happy to see the vidoe after you give this Professor Robaudo demonstrates the process and benefits of first derivative test from Calculus I. Part 1
after i watched this video, my insight is very open because the video Professor Robaudo demonstrates the process and benefits of first derivative test from Calculus I is very good to give information
I hate calculus cuz I don't understand I think if you use calculus to find the area between curve lines you will never ever get the exact true result. I think geometry is better. calculus may be just for theory not for reality or fact..
@maijib2009 actually, real life situations are Calculus base not Geometry. Take the oil spill for example. You know that the oil will rise up to the top of the water and they will form a "circular" ring as they expand in time. By measuring the size of the spill at a given time you can use derivative to find how "big" the spill will be at any given time and when it reaches shore. This is just for example...
Calculus is definitely arcane, but if you realize that all those crazy symbols and gizmos actually represent very simple, fundamental concepts, it becomes much easier.
calculus can be easy.. depends how easy your teacher is. Kids i bet if u had my teacher who gives hard ass problems on the test you wouldnt be talkin like ur hot shit on youtube.. fail
aw man, sorry I didn't mean it in a condescending way or anything I apologize...what is your major? Maybe you don't need more than Calculus 1 in what you mare studying.
No need to apologize. It's okay. I just find it incredibly difficult to understand Calculus. Even math in general is tricky for me. I understand Algebra, but when it comes Geometry and anything more advanced, I'm lost! ..that's how bad I am at it.lol.
It's Mr. Robaudo on YouTube!!!!! Man I took 085 with him and I am wondering why he is teaching these lower course levels here at Marshall with kids that just don't understand the easiest of math including me??

Shouldn't it be f'>0 between c1 and c2? ...since it's increasing. lol, funny how the prof didn't realize that...

That is because this lesson is easy.
First and Second derivative tests are the most simple lessons in Calc 1.

Easy for those who are good at it. I'm quite stupid when it comes to math, so I find it really difficult. But still I wish I was good at math.:(
