I think it's great you want to have your baby natural. I originally wanted that too, but after 4cm of dilation I had to succumb to epidural. Everyone has a different experience. After getting epidural, i was only allowed water. Definitely no food. If you go natural without epidural, i'm not sure if you are allowed.. i don't see why not though. I just remembering as soon as my baby came out, I wanted CARBS!! PIZZA OR SPAGHETTI. maybe just all the work of pushing. good luck!!! keep me posted!!
