I don't really see why people give the new robin hood movie so much shit. I love the fact that they made the movie on one of the myths about before he became an outlaw. Russell Crowe didn't play the roll perfectly i guess, He was still in the vibe he used for gladiator but that doesn't ruin the movie, everyone else played their part flawlessly. And it keeps some historical accuracy such as king Richard dying in a siege in France.

The french invasion looked like a copy from another movie- "saving private Ryan". The boats looked like silly ww2 copies. The archery parts were good eaven though he used a modern instictive archery style- he pulled the the arrow to his face, medeavel archers pulled much further back.

Just heard him interviewed on bbc radio 4. the interveiwer said he thought there was a hint of irish in his robin hood accent, russel took offence and said 'bollocks' the interviewer carried on eventually asking him about if he had wanted to say the big speech in gladiator , russel just walked off and didnt answer.........

apparently his accent is supposed to be slightly northern

I like Russell Crow but I have to be honest I dont know if he fits in with how I see the charcther of Hood. I loved Jonas Armstrongs version [the late 20s/early 30s Robin Hood] Young, brave, at times foolish and no matter what loyal to the end. I think Jonas Robin was cheecky/child like why also being brave. Crows Robin [why good in his own right] I think looks...well dark.
