The Island was written and recorded by Paul Brady. He is one of Ireland's most famous singer/songwriters. His work is fantastic! However, I think Keith's interpretation of this song is by far the best I've heard.

Celtic Thunder is my favorite group.

I have been to 2 our their live concerts and # 3 is coming up in November.

Celtic Woman is next on my list, they too are a fine group. Been to 2 of their live concerts also. If you get a chance to see either of them live, just do it you will not be sorry.

I was coming down the stairs to get something to drink when I saw my mom watching some music entertainment thing. I asked her what it was (while the lady tried selling stuff) and she said "It's some group called celtic thunder. they're really good so far! come watch!" and then after she said that I sat down and then he came on. Singing this exact same song. He was the very first one I saw singing from CT and now he's been my favorite singer for about 3 years now. It's my dream to meet him lol
