Freedom of speech is one of the most important, sacred things we Americans should hold dear. Without a voice, change cannot be put into motion. I applaud you, posting your opinions online. You set a great example for what we all should do, especially teenagers today. If we do not get our voice out there now, then our world in the future may not be as bright as we wish. :)

Of course a lot of what you're talking about is propaganda. The American government doesn't want it's public to feel sorry for 'the enemy', it wants to air 'join the army!' commercials. It doesn't want people like Rosie saying "Extreme Christianity is just as bad as extreme Islam." It's what they see as their way of keeping the peace.
