You have to have a full face helmet, and MX boots. You should also have riding pants, jersey, chest protector, knee guard, and gloves.

My 2006 KTM 450XC W has the standard bore.

Most hare scrambles are 2 hours long, some like the GNCC are 3 hours long

Standing gives you more control, but it can wear you out. The bike ahead of me is a RM250, The bike we both pass is a WR250 and it has a girl rider. You can see another photo of her at Wikipedia under Hare Scramble. I am riding a KTM 450 XC. The big bore lets me ride the bike lazy and in a higher gear than normal.

It's and Archos 404 unit. I think the compression is a bit much, making the video fuzz out. Look at my other video where it is darker woods and you will see what I mean.
