I cant do this. Ginger and garlic are too light, and as soon as i start the blender the pieces fly up and stick to the cup walls. So i grind for 2 seconds - then its 1 minute of pushing all the pieces down, and so on. In the end it doesnt quite grind to a fine paste. What do i do ?
Well if you get scrapped ginger then you don't need to scrape at all, just go ahead and grind it with peeled garlic to make ginger and garlic paste...

You can freeze them in small packets as per your usage and freeze them, they can stay for at least three weeks.. Singh and Cook!

You need to scrap the ginger so as it has too much of the dirt. No skins of garlic also for making ginger and garlic paste.

@pal18pal you have to scrape the skin, you can also buy clean skinless ginger in supermarkets!
