  • no offense dude but this tutorial SUCKS your not really elaborating where the notes are

  • Why so fast???

  • k this is ot you chord its the intro to milonga by cardoso. now all you did play it fast to the rumba . so would be nice at least give the original composer some credit.

  • milonga is actually not a flamenco form, it's a latin american style of dance.

  • @CarcharodonMusic You're right, but there's the milonga flamenca, just like the tangos flamencos, rumba flamenca or guajira flamenca. Although here it's a milonga argentina.

  • very nice!

  • Awesome... you got me learning this song.. i found this from you... one thing.. i looked up the song and your missing a part... after X87580 in the first part... it goes up to X8X10100....

  • beautiful this song ! I wanted to learn this for some time i think this is really helpful!

  • jeff kim, my new best friend...

I recently started taking up flamenco guitar, fell in love with the sound after hearing it live. I thought it would branch nicely off my previous rhythm guitar experience. I primarily learned guitar by trying to play elliott smith songs! That my favorite youtube guitar player is linking the two together for me... incredible. Thanks and keep it up.

  • wow

    your very talented..obviouslyy.

  • olèèè very good my friend

  • chords are: X57760 6X8780 8X8780 then move index finger down to make 8X8680 X87580 2ND "HALF": X57760 6X5760 X05660 <--(?) X02020 XX3230
  • hey thanks man, i was about to learn this song again since i had tabbed it out on a sheet a long time ago but was about to get into the hassle of writing down which fingers the chords were. But you saved me a lot of time so thankyou and if i could give you 500 thumbs ups i would! Thanks mm111303!

  • hey, will you please tell me what finger you are using to pluck the high E string, is it your pinky or ring finger, looks like your pinky but i can't be sure.

thanks for this, ive never heard this piece before and its sexy.

  • Nice tutorial guy! This is so romantic***** Keep it up! CONGRATS!

  • I liked it, but this isn't flamenco. It's tango from Argentina.

  • I'm sorry, but that is NOT Tango, nor Flamenco.

I believe it's a Chorinho, from Brazil... isn't it a Jorge Cardoso, like benlouj said?

    Anyway, nice picking!

  • From Uruguay ;-)

  • heya, if you get time to tab this in any form, then could ya send it to me please. thanks

    btw sounds great

  • bu ne a.q dersmi vermş

     iğrençç

  • did you happen to make a tab or anything or even chord names? :D pls pm me if so :D!

  • i dont know if you learned this yet, but i just got it down by simply watching him closely, with the strings so far apart, you can tell where his fingers on. the first chord is on the 5th fret, figure it out, you can do it!

  • haha i did a long time ago. I got tired of waiting, and since im not a baby i just did it myself. I actually am not realy asking anyone for tabs anymore since it really isn't hard to just look for chord shapes etc. The only thing i hate is when you can't see chord shapes

  • love t play this but its hard without tab HELP!

  • to help you, this is a milonga by Jorge Cardoso from "24 piezas sudamericanas"

  • nice tutorial.. how long have you played guitar?

  • nice tutorial.. how long have u played guitar?

  • nice tune, are you thinking of developing it further?

  • hey, thanks for checking the clip out, i have a few ideas on how to develop it but the beginning is actually a traditional folk piece that i learned while down in Peru, the original second portion is quite nice, i'll try to find a second to post that up. take care!

  • Hi, great lesson, could you possibly just tab the various chords used IE - 56775x. Thanks

  • can you make by any chance a powertab for the exact picking or tell me the exact name so i can find the tabs

  • i'll try and find a second to tab it out. i actually don't know the official name because i just picked it up when I was travelling through peru eating with a friend over dinner. :) I'll try and investigate though and i'll pm you with the chords. take care and thanks for checking the clip out!

  • This is the Milonga from Jorge Cardoso. Easy to find in sheet music (with a second part to be played by a second guitarist). A lot of interpretations can be found on youtube. The duo version is superb.

  • Hey Jeff, great effort anyway. But a tutorial is showing how not performing...couldnt catch your plucking style....but u played wonderful though.

  • I can follow your chords, but loosing you on the right hand -- everything blends together and is difficult to figure out what goes into just one iteration. Beautiful melody -- I really want to nail it. THanks

  • Thanks for checking the clip out! It seems like some people play it a lot slower so I'll go through the right hand in detail in a second part when i get a chance. I just picked this up while traveling in Peru so I don't know where the tempo variations originate but take care!

  • Why are you playing so fast? this piece needs to be practiced slowly or the music is lost!

  • Excellent. I needed something like this!

  • cool, I'm working on posting up some leo brouwer tutorials in the coming weeks. Thanks for checking out the clip. Take care!
