k this is ot you chord its the intro to milonga by cardoso. now all you did play it fast to the rumba . so would be nice at least give the original composer some credit.
@CarcharodonMusic You're right, but there's the milonga flamenca, just like the tangos flamencos, rumba flamenca or guajira flamenca. Although here it's a milonga argentina.
Awesome... you got me learning this song.. i found this from you... one thing.. i looked up the song and your missing a part... after X87580 in the first part... it goes up to X8X10100....
I recently started taking up flamenco guitar, fell in love with the sound after hearing it live. I thought it would branch nicely off my previous rhythm guitar experience. I primarily learned guitar by trying to play elliott smith songs! That my favorite youtube guitar player is linking the two together for me... incredible. Thanks and keep it up.
hey thanks man, i was about to learn this song again since i had tabbed it out on a sheet a long time ago but was about to get into the hassle of writing down which fingers the chords were. But you saved me a lot of time so thankyou and if i could give you 500 thumbs ups i would! Thanks mm111303!
hey, will you please tell me what finger you are using to pluck the high E string, is it your pinky or ring finger, looks like your pinky but i can't be sure.
thanks for this, ive never heard this piece before and its sexy.
i dont know if you learned this yet, but i just got it down by simply watching him closely, with the strings so far apart, you can tell where his fingers on. the first chord is on the 5th fret, figure it out, you can do it!
haha i did a long time ago. I got tired of waiting, and since im not a baby i just did it myself. I actually am not realy asking anyone for tabs anymore since it really isn't hard to just look for chord shapes etc. The only thing i hate is when you can't see chord shapes
hey, thanks for checking the clip out, i have a few ideas on how to develop it but the beginning is actually a traditional folk piece that i learned while down in Peru, the original second portion is quite nice, i'll try to find a second to post that up. take care!
i'll try and find a second to tab it out. i actually don't know the official name because i just picked it up when I was travelling through peru eating with a friend over dinner. :) I'll try and investigate though and i'll pm you with the chords. take care and thanks for checking the clip out!
This is the Milonga from Jorge Cardoso. Easy to find in sheet music (with a second part to be played by a second guitarist). A lot of interpretations can be found on youtube. The duo version is superb.
I can follow your chords, but loosing you on the right hand -- everything blends together and is difficult to figure out what goes into just one iteration. Beautiful melody -- I really want to nail it. THanks
Thanks for checking the clip out! It seems like some people play it a lot slower so I'll go through the right hand in detail in a second part when i get a chance. I just picked this up while traveling in Peru so I don't know where the tempo variations originate but take care!
no offense dude but this tutorial SUCKS your not really elaborating where the notes are

milonga is actually not a flamenco form, it's a latin american style of dance.

I liked it, but this isn't flamenco. It's tango from Argentina.

I'm sorry, but that is NOT Tango, nor Flamenco.
I believe it's a Chorinho, from Brazil... isn't it a Jorge Cardoso, like benlouj said?
Anyway, nice picking!

Why are you playing so fast? this piece needs to be practiced slowly or the music is lost!
