Which video were you watching mate? Think you need to get your eyes tested. I was watching the one where the turtle had fishing line wrapped around its neck and was drowning. Save your comments for someone else. Cheers,
Did the turtle really have fishing line attached to it,or was that just an excuse for harassing it?You didn't look to concerned with its well being when you were playing with it in the water.
Hiya mate, thanks for commenting. I'm always concerned for the animal's welfare. Unless I'm trying to educate people or help a wild animal, I don't touch them and I certainly don't harass anything. But thanks for your concern. Yup he had some wire round his neck, looked like a wire fishing trace. These are unbelieveably powerful animals and it was taking all my strength just to hold him relativly upright in the water. I had to call in my good friend to assist with the wire itself. Thanks
Heya Rob, thanks for the comment. Yep great to see that from the dolphins, it only happened once whilst we were out there, so was quite lucky to catch it on film. Keep up the herping! Happy hunting, cheers,
Heya mate, thanks for the comment. I studied biology at A-Level but at Uni I opted for a geography and conservation degree. Outside of university its all about conservation though! :) cheers mate,
Yer, crazy hair :) sorry about that!! got a bit carried away with this fella, but yer, i was so happy after this, was great to lend a hand. Thanks for your kind comments mate,
haha, i know what you mean mate. And yer, he was the biggest loggerhead i saw all trip. sooo powerful - unreal!! I was knackered by the end of it and it only lasted 30 seconds!! Cheers,
Yer, I'm really glad too. Was so lucky to see him in amongst that lot! It was an amazing place, you're quite right!! South Mexico if you're interested! Thanks, as ever for your support mate :D
Thankyou very much, quite proud of that one! I think thats pretty much it from my central america travels, so won't be 'getting around' so much for a while now. Poor turtle though, I'd hate to think how many go undiscovered. Cheers Bill,
Heya, thankyou very much. Got a bit too enthusiastic with this one, but hey, atleast we managed to help him out a bit. It was such a great feeling of relief when he went back strong and obviously alot better off. Quite emotional. Thanks mate,
well done!
