  • This album of EC is my favourite ! He is the bluesman ! Untouchable voice and acoustic guitar playing ! Really good guy !

  • Reminds me of a simpler time that I'll never experience. Makes me wanna grab my girl and hit da road. Where we'll end up???? Hell if I know,LMAO!

  • good feeling song,loveit!!!!!!

  • Another awesome song!

  • Oh my God....this is the best music... enjoy it.... Great Eric Clapton.....

  • This is my favorite album of all time. I love every song on this. This CD changed my life. Lots of nights cruising in the car, reflecting on thoughts listening to these songs on repeat.

Love live Clapton, long live his legacy!

  • Great Version of San Francisco Bay Blues written by the "One-Man-Band" Jesse Fuller!

  • God damn... this is good music...

  • From SF, love this beyond belief. Even though the hipsters will give me shit and call me all sorts of names. guess what hipsters??? Fuck you! I love this song and I go to El Farolito for my Mission Burrito!!!!

  • This song always remind me of when I used to work at Universal Studios Florida, at the Earthquake attraction. They had this song on loop outside right around the time , within a few songs of "I still haven't found what I'm looking for"... To this day, if I hear either of those two songs or "If you're going to San Francisco", I am totally reminded of good times and missed people!!!!!

  • One of his BEST!

  • heard this first in a hostel room....fergusson college , pune, india...stayed with me since then...wonderful

  • gotta love that kazoo!

  • Agreed! Badass

  • It shakes my body and my Skeleton shuffles around all the time. Thank you Mr.Clapton.

  • 2 people haven´t been to san fransisco

  • wow... hope I can get to san francisco one day too <3

  • Just ordered this CD.

I dont even know why all the labels keep deleting stuff from youtube, I have bought NUMEROUS CDs simply because I found a song on youtube.

  • @Mustang1204

They tend to keep a few of each song around, for that simple reason...

  • @Mustang1204 Exactly, it's like free advertising.

  • love it! now if I could only remember where I put this CD......

  • This song reminds me of my Reno trip back in 1996.

  • Thumbs up! only 2 haters out of 55 votes! Eric, you off the hook!

My favorite song to play at "Sutter Station" in San Francisco Business District, right before the Embarcadarro BART stop!!!

  • Best version is Hot Tuna's Live in Japan. Jorma Kaukonen's pickin' is leagues beyond any strumming version. Just my two cents.

  • @knopfler720 There's also a good version on the ' live at stillwater' you may want to give it a listen. Jorma's one of the best finger style players ever in my opinion, I've been listening to his music for 40+ yrs now, and he just gets better.

  • Whenever I come to San Francisco, I recall this song, which is really great!

  • kazoo was played by Dr Jack Keverokian

  • yes its a kazoo from kalamazoo wisconsin lol sorry couldnt help myself, but yup kazoo

  • I was leading some Jap POWS to the stockade in Frisco Bay, when I hear an old Negro singing this song about lost love. I felt sorry for the Jaops for a sec or two.--Memeries of a WW2 GI, Walt Kozlozerski, publ. in Dubuqe, IA

  • by far the best version

  • @BigBen260790 Captures the essence of old San Francisco.

  • @BigBen260790 doesn't hold a candle to the Ramblin' Jack Elliot version.

  • @1bassley

nope, this is the best one.

  • @BigBen260790 I totally agree! This live album is THE best from Clapton!

  • Good day, i wonder if anyone can tell me what wind instrument are they playing at 1:35, help me out if you have the will. Thanks in anticipation.
