This is my favorite album of all time. I love every song on this. This CD changed my life. Lots of nights cruising in the car, reflecting on thoughts listening to these songs on repeat.
From SF, love this beyond belief. Even though the hipsters will give me shit and call me all sorts of names. guess what hipsters??? Fuck you! I love this song and I go to El Farolito for my Mission Burrito!!!!
This song always remind me of when I used to work at Universal Studios Florida, at the Earthquake attraction. They had this song on loop outside right around the time , within a few songs of "I still haven't found what I'm looking for"... To this day, if I hear either of those two songs or "If you're going to San Francisco", I am totally reminded of good times and missed people!!!!!
@knopfler720 There's also a good version on the ' live at stillwater' you may want to give it a listen. Jorma's one of the best finger style players ever in my opinion, I've been listening to his music for 40+ yrs now, and he just gets better.
I was leading some Jap POWS to the stockade in Frisco Bay, when I hear an old Negro singing this song about lost love. I felt sorry for the Jaops for a sec or two.--Memeries of a WW2 GI, Walt Kozlozerski, publ. in Dubuqe, IA
This album of EC is my favourite ! He is the bluesman ! Untouchable voice and acoustic guitar playing ! Really good guy !

Just ordered this CD.
I dont even know why all the labels keep deleting stuff from youtube, I have bought NUMEROUS CDs simply because I found a song on youtube.

@Mustang1204
They tend to keep a few of each song around, for that simple reason...

My favorite song to play at "Sutter Station" in San Francisco Business District, right before the Embarcadarro BART stop!!!

Best version is Hot Tuna's Live in Japan. Jorma Kaukonen's pickin' is leagues beyond any strumming version. Just my two cents.
