2000 heavy metal headbangers (lead by TheAmazingAthiest) have gathered near the spot of the Jesus Statue and were there the day it burned!

@necroslair Well, there were lots of people stopping n the side of the interstate to take pictures of the now-destroyed Touchdown Jesus. This story was a nation-wide event, since the statue is famous. However, there were cops ticketing drivers for stopping on the side of the highway to take pictures. Now, there is a plan to rebuild Touchdown Jesus, but being much better than the old statue this time.
