I appreciate your enthusiasm for Pink Floyd. I've listened to them since I was in high school Algebra class. A girl brought Dark Side of the Moon to class and the teacher slammed his textbook shut and went to his office and hauled out a record player. That was 1974. But don't use drugs listening to music it'll flat ruin your life. The best way to hear all the music is with a pair of Sennheiser or Koss headphones on. You want to hear every note!

"Careful with that Axe Eugene" is an unbelievable song. I have been a diehard Pink Floyd fan for over 30 years. I have seen them live numerous times. The first part of the song is portrays how the murderer feels while stalking its prey. The chaotic middle piece represents the out of control rage the murderer feels during the actual murder. The last part of the song represents the adrenaline slow down of the post murderer's emotions. Listen to the song and you will know what I mean.

Prefer the version with the original Pompeii footage. Some of the new Director's Cut footage here does look cool, but the way it's edited gives even less screen time of the Floyd playing. And the original also had footage of the band walking through an area with some volcanic activity.

Plus, for some reason it sounds like Richard Wright's playing keyboard blips that weren't in the original version.

But this does have great interview footage. And the song itself is amazing, of course.
