I'm actually glad for those two. Really. They loved each other and as Chrno said, he didn't want to live any longer then her. He gave up healing himself and living on, so that he could die with the human he'd fell inlove with. Like Azmaria, I smile. I know that those two died happy, and that they are with each other in the end, so although the end is sad, I know that it's a message of love behind it. After all, they died with smiles on their faces.

Take the music out and leave only the voices. Then take out the line, "I don't want to die!" And you will find it's a lot less sad. I mean it's still really sad, just not as sad.

Just finished watching Chrono Crusade, and I have one simple conclusion... AION won in the end, he just achieved IMMORTALITY, as witnessed by Remington in the year 1981 (my year of birth, strangely). This anime is so dark and tragic in every way, it's proof that evil (or crime) does pay. The truth simply hurts at times.

@Yugi6020 I cried like a baby in Clannad , god it was so much for Tomoya to handle and go through so much, I though Key was the only one to kill your favorite characters off. but after Chrono Crusade I'm so glad that Clannad got it's happily ever after after so much pain and suffering.

Imo what made this all the more heartbreaking was that Rosette was crying, begging for more time. And that they never really achieved anything... Aion still lived after all that.
