@cdbicdb Sort of. I've been trying to teach myself but by bit, by looking up videos on youtube (like yours) to some of my favorite songs. I went to a conference one time, and was invited to sit in the hearing impaired section for five days. I picked up a lot there, as well. A friend of mine, too, is deaf in one ear, and is an interpreter at a school. She gives me little quizzes here and there. I'm at the point where if I hear a song that I like, I try to sign it then look it up online & compare
you can learn alot from youtube...but your best bet is to take what you have and get involved in the deaf community, find a deaf chat, we have set up several in the Chattanooga area, but find some deaf socials in your area and start attending, start signing, what you don't know finger spell and they will show you the sign. But most important, turn off your voice and force yourself to sign, not speak!
That is very beautiful! May I ask what sign you are doing for "trials"?
