  • this illustrates succinctly the philippines' problems with petty bureaucrats. gov't ipisyals trying to make themselves important by enforcing ridiculous policies. if they want to protect the filipino consumers, andaming magnanakaw sa gobyerno. y not run after them, instead of targetting ordinary b-/vloggers. respect is earned, d po binabraso, mga utak dikya.

  • YOUR MUSIC IS ANNOYING... cant hear your voice very well even tho i turn it up...

  • @brianjulia143 Im sorry that its too loud, it was not supposed to be this way in the first place.

  • i would agree on the fact that online business really need to apply for a permit because technically they are engage in commerce, for the give aways i don't think that it is actually cover by this law because technically those who need business permits are those engage into business and blogging or vloging could be a means but the fact that not all bloggers are actually engage in trade business then it would be against the freedom of expression. just an opinion. =)

  • @iheartsnickerz i hope that they would conside GIVEAWAYS as a different entity, because the blogger who's post i linked to in this video actually revised it including an ART 116 Permit to Conduct permition, which basically says bloggers cant do anything in regards with sales campaigns, including beauty contest, national in character, sponsored and promoted by manufacturing enterprises.

They are very unclear with this LAW or whatever its being called, but i do hope that our voices will be heard,

  • Respond to this video... I hope they make certain exceptions for bloggers regarding giveaways.

  • This is unbelievable. Thanks for making this vid.

  • Even though the news made me upset, thanks for sharing it. We need to do something about this.

  • I think they have noticed that the online market in the Philippines have grown bigger and bigger and there are a growing number of bloggers who partner with private companies, so they want to leech out a few bucks "to benefit the country through taxes" i think it's BS.

  • That's BS. Ill fully support the petition against this!

  • It will very impractical for DTI and for bloggers to waste time and resources para kumuha ng DTI permit. Exag.

  • Honestly, hindi ko alam kung bakit kelangan ng DTI permit kapag may promos. I don't think it doesn't make sense though. Siguro kapag mga malalaking promos and prizes it makes sense. Like yung mga win a car, etc. Kasi may passive income tax ang winnings.

Pero yung mga giveaways and contests sa blogs?!?! It doesn't make sense. Kasi immaterial yung amount ng prizes sa mga vlogs and blogs usually. How often do you see a giveaway na tipong lampas ng 1k.

  • Re-tweeted and posted this on Facebook. I just started blogging and this crap from DTI can be such a hassle. I'm gonna support this petition 100%

  • LOL this is nuts, and its not ever gonna work - I used to work in advertising and getting DTI permit is already a hassle when you're in a legit ad agency - what more for individual bloggers - LOL

  • hi, thank you for doing this video para sting mga KABABAYAN sa pinas, stand by you and MABUHAY KA, hey btw is this the song that you taking about lately, i like it:)
