I purchased 2 silverfox moutain bike's from argos and in the first few days kept getting very slow punctures that slow that could not find puncture, replaced inner tube's and happened again so stripped down wheel for inspection and noticed that the inside rim had some rough edges were it had not been machined very well so i sanded them smooth with sanding paper and now it seems ok.....
Hi ur videos are helpful. Ive got a flat which is caused by a small cut at the bottom of the valve. I assume the rim valve hole is cutting because it looks pretty sharp. Do you know how to avoid this problem in the future? I tried to use sand paper but it quiet hard to put thru that little hole.
@dat2704 I've seen that problem a few times, where there is a tear at the place where the valve stem is connected to the tube. I've always associated that problem with tubes that has been inflated when the valve stem is on an angle (not 90 degrees from the rim). Inflating the tube when it is like that puts alot of strain on that joint. If you make sure you have it assembled properly before inflating you shouldn't have problems with that.
Maybe you can try a small round file on the sharp edge.
