They are amazing birds. Not only can they mimic words but they can mimic accents as well. Rear any crow or raven around people and it will learn to speak.
One of the most amazing moments of my life was at the Tower of London. My brother and I had smoked a fatty beforehand, and we were just relaxing on a bench when one of the ravens sauntered up, jumped on a railing next to us, and calmly wished us "Good morning". We were absolutely shocked, then we laughed and laughed, saying "Dude, did that just happen?" The laughing Chinese couple near us confirmed to us that they heard it too. True story!
Aww I love Terry. Just uploaded a video myself actually as he now says ARSE. Filmed it ages ago and just wanted to shove it up here as I got a new mobile and didn't wanna lose it. Loooooovvve Terry!
Not really a surprise. Ravens, starlings, etc. all fall under the corvidae family, which are incredibly smart. Mynas are a type of starling, and are rumored to be some of the best talkers in the world.
Terry is darling! Incidentally, there are many birds other than parrots who can speak human words. I in fact know of an English Sparrow who speaks human words, in context even! I have two pet Starlings that both speak quite clearly. Right now, Cheerio the Starling is sitting behind me saying, "Hey there feather butt!" over and over again.
He be a Cockney if I am not mistaken - beautiful beautiful bird. I have 8 talking starlings and they are incredible mimics too. I cannot tell if it is one of my starlings of my hubby talking they are such a great mimic!!! One of my starlings likes to yell "WEEEEEEEEEEEEEE" - so funny, and he loves to do it when someone goes into the bathroom. Aussie Kids Author - Susan Macauley

I don't swear this is a joke, because I'm sure this is a hand breeding and a wrong coined bird.
Have you found him as a chicken?
FeyCore 2 years ago
Is this a joke or what? LOL If this is for real, that bird is so well spoken. And he's got a real British accent.
