BC Place does not hold hockey events. Its mainly for football (the BC Lions) and will also be the site of the ceremonies for the Vancouver 2010 Olympics.

These air supported domes were the most terrible inventions... They take up so much electricity powering the giant fans that keep the roof supported, many of them are being demolished for more environmentally friendly venues...
