I just checked and this footage was taken 4 Sept 09 -rather late in the season and certainly during a period of low flow. This is about 5~10 miles from headwaters, in the marsh area just north of Lake Itasca. I don't recommend setting out so late if you tend to go far... It was snowing on me just downstream of Minneapolis.
