if you hold on to the skull untill the ending of the mission, you get a spartan lazer in the next mission. kinda pointless since that you can just take johnson's lazer with unlimited

i got the skull, it does have a ability, but to activate the ability, you need to activate the recon switch, the recon switch will activate the secret skulls on floodgate and seirra117, seira117 is easier

No problem, its the easiest to find anwywas. Just find that small tunnel in the cave. :D I didnt get the unknown skull though. Didnt think it was nescessary.
