i think i was around 7 when the fellowship came out, of coarse being a 7 year old girl i didnt really understand the movie and i remember being quite bored watching it. Now im 17 and honestly i wish i had been older when it came out. It's only recently that ive come to really really love it, i just wish i got to take part in the LOTR craze like the exhibitions and the selling of the movie memorabilia and that but this time im absolutely ready and pumped for The Hobbit

I think when principal photography started on this film in 1999 I was 12. I remember seeing an advert for it on the back of a magazine and running to my dad and granddad and telling them how excited I was to see them turning it into a film, as I read them with my granddad when I was about six. I followed principal photography and pick-ups religiously, absolutely enthralled. I'm 24 now and they still enthral and amaze me, and I have these films to thank for my own escapade into special effects
