  • The last good movie DeNiro or Pacino ever made.

  • If i was the composer of this track i would only let people listen to it when they were half asleep and thinking about life, dreams, different worlds and who or what we are in this massive universe. When you just sit in pitch black and think about that stuff while listening to this song it's mind blowing, outstanding stuff.

  • I love it so much... it's like a trance...

  • I don't even know what I'm doing anymore. I know life is short, whatever time you get is luck. You want to walk? You walk right now. Or on your own... on your own you choose to come with me. And all I know is... all I know is there's no point in me going anywhere anymore if it's going to be alone... without you.

  • @meo626

Not true, they really were together in the coffee shop, even though you couldn't see both of their faces together in one shot. Check the bonus material of the DVD.

  • @OMGMrTea I finally watched the bonus material. Thanks for the correction. I wonder why Mann decided to film like that.

  • fuck hiddles....bitch

  • I throw this song on whenever I drive into the skyline of downtown L.A.

  • I told you i wouldn't be going back....

  • one of my favourite endings to one of my favourite films.

  • @thatfilmgeekguy me too.

  • every time.... every damn time i got shivers on my back and get all emotional, when i hear this epic song...

  • What's the name song where Neil is hiding near the runway and Vincent is sweeping the area before shooting Neil? It was also used in Public Enemies.

  • this is so fucking inspirational <3

  • "I told you I wouldn't be going back." Robert is genius in the end of the movie. Al is just looks off into the distance.

Such a great ending to this movie!

  • Amazing!

  • this movie was perfect

  • @sexysay1000 And it still is! A masterpiece will never die.

  • Oh my god! This song is so incredible, stunning can't find any words for it!

    Heat great,great Movie!!!!

  • Never get attached to anything you can't walk away from in 30 seconds or less when you see the heat coming around the corner.

  • I thought Lisa Gerrard made this music.

  • powerful song

  • Anybody know the score when they executed the first heist smoothly and played when they were escaping?

  • SERIOUS FILM

  • I find this to be the perfect music for reflection.

Happy new year everyone, I hope that you have a fantastic year that teaches you many things about life, just like 2011 did to me.

  • @ChurpMusic Thanks.2011 was a great and interesting year for me too.

  • @ChurpMusic i hope so....... happy new year to you too :)

  • @ChurpMusic that's lovely. happy new year to you!

  • @ChurpMusic Happy new year to you too

  • The best melody on Youtube, right next to FF7's One Winged Angel. If you disagree, then, well,

    fuck you

  • Unsungheroful- This song is only at the end of the movie. I don't know what the other song is though, sorry:(.

  • Whats the music called before they meet for coffee when pacino is racing after him in his car is it this one or a different one?

  • @Unsungheroful. Was just looking for that track :) its called "new dawn fades" and its a remix of a joy division song performed by Moby

  • @Unsungheroful new dawn fades by moby

  • 18 people are hanging out with Waingro.

  • It's not about Creation, it's about Completion_

  • Couldn't have picked a better title., this is indeed God quickening everything into being :D

  • Foilseal- Wow, you're something else.

  • Every time I see that last scene in HEAT and this music starts I get butterflies in my stomach. Such an amazing ending to such an amazing film!

  • "i told you i was never going back"

  • @1860george i actually loved dark knight and batman begins, aswell as batman the movie, and batman returns. Heat is better than them all. it contains masterpieces, and it really hit me hard in 1995 when i watched this film. today in 2011, (almost 2012 now), the film still hits as hard as ever!

  • The ending scene " Hand and Hand " is one of the greatest ending scenes of all time. Watching Robert put his hand out for Al to hold almost made me cry and when Al held his hand as the camera shifted to the behind view that's when I cried. These two had alot of respect for each other. It's just sad it ended like that. You can tell it hurt Pacino to have to do that:(.

  • unreal flick of all time

  • This final scene in the movie is epic..They seem to have a mutual respect for each other though they were both on oposite sides of the law. They each had strained releationships due to the commitment thet each had for what they did for a living..They were both good at what they did..They were both destined to meet again and they both knew only 1 would walk away..They were both Alpha males..The only difference was 1 was good and 1 was bad..

  • A ripoff of The Dark Knight......red arrow me as much as you want but the fact is that this film is a complete ripoff of The dark knight.

    Heath Ledger forever!

    I am the joker!

    \

  • @rishi851 How is this movie a rip off of the Dark Knight?

  • @rishi851 Well I really love the Dark Knight, probably the best post-9/11 action film, but the bank robbery scene is actually a reference to Heat, not the opposite, chronologically speaking, it would be impossible^^

  • @rishi851 Dude "The Dark Knight" came out AFTER this. Way after in fact, so if anyone ripped of someone it's Nolan who is guilty.

  • @rishi851 This movie came out in 1995 you dumb moron.

  • @rishi851 i am a complete nolan fanatic and i love the dark knight, but ur just straight retarded dude.

Heat is a classic, before nolans time.

  • Just listening to this leaves a lump in my throat.

  • The ending scene of Heat is probably the best movie ending scenes I've ever seen...

  • @PaleoCavemanDiet i agree regards

  • Moby does it again

  • ,,I won't be hesitate for a second!!"

  • Heat was one helluva movie and this song to cap off the movie- brilliant!

  • I love this song, the ending of the movie and the whole movie!!!! Pacino and De Niro are the best!!!

  • You just cost me $6000.

  • Fuck you waingro, you dirty rat.

  • Tom Hiddleston sent me and he was right as usual!

  • @greenspotter33 Yeah Tom has really great taste in music.

  • Fantastic film and soundtrack "I told you I'm Never Goin' Back" :)

  • Apparently 15 people went back.

  • Robert:"Ich sag doch ich geh nie wieder in Bau"......Al nickt,es kann halt nur einen geben...Ne auf jeden Fall der beste Actionthriller meiner Meinung nach.

  • She had a greattttttttttt Ass!!! My favorite move of all time. HEAT. The greatest crime movie of all time. Along with the Godfathers Pt. 1 & 2 and The Departed.

  • Unreal music

  • Simply incredible. Probably my favourite movie of all time. Listening to this and think about Heat makes my cry a bit. It's that fucking awesome!

  • @mikecorleone49 Gives me goosepimples everytime... Tragic but brilliant ending

  • This is a magical and sublime track.

  • Beautiful.

  • "I don't know how to do anything else"

    "Neither do I"

"I don't much want to either"

    "Neither do I"

    "<=)"

    "=)"

  • Pacino's expression and his eyes when De Niro died + this music = EPIC

  • @mikecorleone49

  • Comment removed

  • @foilseal Oh! I didn't know that. It's news to me.

  • @mikecorleone49 i checked wikipedia and you were right. he did die in 95.

  • @mikecorleone49

Pacino's face in that scene is why I've watched this movie countless times.

  • @mikecorleone49

    Totally agreed.

    Epic duel.

    Epic movie.

    Epic song.

  • epic.

  • @YoungGrizzly82

I sure know what magic is... that ending... pure cinematic magic of the highest order... freakin beautiful.

  • @ForgottenSage

Thanks for that quote. It instantly gave me shivers.

  • Ce n'est pas la version du film, il y'a une pettie nuance musical qui n'apparait pas dans cette version .

  • best forever! love this shit!

  • @ForgottenSage Oh, well played.

  • quelle musique de dieu...

  • @ForgottenSage How original. No one has made that comment for this video before.

  • It really is magic stuff...

  • Epic..

  • I think best ending ever.......

  • @ForgottenSage yeah..

  • Moby never let down with there different music, least of all me when i first heard it when i previewed the film at UCI cinemas warrington.

This peace of music is what i like to call "look back on your life" music

The friends you had, the family, the nights out, the ex girlfriends, everything.

This music near enough always brings a happy tear to my eyes but it always makes me think what else could I have done!!

    Live life.............

  • @DarylFryer800 I know what you mean - it makes you stop and think about things like that. Very special music indeed.

  • @ForgottenSage ......

    yeah.....

    *HOLDS HAND* :3

  • this movie was F**KING GREAT, just watched it yesterday, this music is what made the ending so great, yet so sad :'(

it seriously brought a tear to my eye!

  • @shobley it's this version dude its just that they cut pieces of the song to fit the movie

  • I watched Heat the other day - first time in a long, long time - decided to track down the soundtrack. This version is lacking a portion used in the movie - just as the credits come in the repeating theme switches to a major key. This version is lacking that switch, and suffers because of it (just a little too much repetition for me) - anyone know where the true soundtrack version is?

  • Comment removed

  • @shobley

    try 4:25 on

    watch?v=ZFUFXeMnru4&feature=related

  • This is quite possibly the best piece of music Moby has written to date.

  • this song the film that scene always gives me goosebumps. awesome movie one of my favorites.

  • U N F O K K E N B E L I E V A B L E

    Great movie.

  • Mann's Masterpiece. Pure magic.

  • This definitely landed the best movie ending of all time

  • A truly inspirational ending theme to one of my favourite movies. Neil was based on a real guy who took down scores. A classic Michael Mann production!!!

  • look up epic on wikipedia and you will able to play a clip from this song

  • I haven't seen heat for a long time and that dialog mixed with Moby's track is awesome

  • You know, we are sitting here, you and I, like a couple of regular fellas. You do what you do, and I do what I gotta do. And now that we've been face to face, if I'm there and I gotta put you away, I won't like it. But I tell you, if it's between you and some poor bastard whose wife you're gonna turn into a widow, brother, you are going down.

  • @Lassannn There is a flip side to that coin.....If I have to put you down....I wont hesitate one bit. Deep conversation went down right there!! Damn, I got goosebumps....

  • now compare this to the movies people watch today.. and the music people listen today.... wow... humanity is going to shit...

  • Comment removed

  • This and the Gangs Of New York ending song are the best 2 ending pieces in film history.

  • also i love this but i think its different then the one in the movie. In the movie there is this long, HUGE bass that literally sends shivers down my spine.

none the less fucking love this shit!

    and whats chopin O.o

  • отличная музыка, можно слушать бесконечно...

  • Damn a Masterpiece .

  • this was a great movie ......and the music score was truly great

  • best fucking piano ive heard in my life. wow

  • @JusticeRetroHunter

I agree that it's good.. but you should definitely check out some Chopin, as that is probably as good as it gets.

  • @toobshmoob dou you know what song it is that is just before pacino invites dinero for coffee it has geetar in it could you tell me were in the score this is

  • @annabatarowicz I am pretty sure it was written as part of the soundtrack for the film. Written by Elliot Goldenthal and performed by Deaf Elk.

  • Al Pacino was playing his role much better than in Godfather.

  • @TheZagiello Gasp! Are you counting both Godfather movies? I must disagree. I'll take him in Godfather 2 over Heat.

  • 10 people have no fucking clue what magic is....

  • I remember the first time I saw this masterpiece, truly magical

  • @YoungGrizzly82 Especially the scene with De Niro and Pachino having coffee. It really drew closer to who they truly were and why they chose their professions.

  • The title have been called 'Creation', as in all is done. Creation.

  • Best crime/thriller movie ever made. (And The Departed)

  • I cried at the end of the movie becasue of this song I was caught in the moment of Michael Mann greatest work ever. This movie is amazing. My favorite movie of all time for now and ever.

  • Michael Mann, FTW!

  • ..1995.. HEAT was so ahead of it's time.. one of the best crime thrillers.. Micheal Mann rocks..and no other movies can duplicate this

  • Great song, great film

  • im me im me so who are you you're not me! haha nice sample.

  • now we ar free goddamit

  • don't let yourself get attached to anything you are not willing to walk out on in 30 seconds flat if you feel the heat around the corner

  • Why is it they can't make movies this good any more

  • Automatic thumbs up.

Words alone cant describe this song.

  • And as stated before.....He's not going back>>>>And he didn't. Powerful!

  • @jbrich15 oh god, that sounds awful

  • @jbrich15 But original from Moby is the best...

  • @jbrich15 I didn't know that, and now that I do, it made me sick

  • this song made the movie the best ending to a movie ever!

  • @Icandrum2 completely agree, glad someone else thinks so too
