This film is a put-up job. The strongest thing in it is the music. In counterpaert to it's VERY weak argument the score says: 'this man is not to be trusted. He has lied to you. I don't think the U.S does have the highest immigration rate but again that is a statistic built from interpretive information. Canada has the highest per capita immigration rate based on the census. Yes. If you take into account the number of immigrants entering, over the population for both Countries, Canada has a rate more than twice as high. This film is a put-up job. The strongest thing in it is the music. In counterpaert to it's VERY weak argument the score says: 'this man is not to be trusted. He has lied to you. He is a showman who takes liberties with the truth', or sentiments to that effect. It's completely out of proportion to the watery argument. Anyone heard of Cointelpro? They just end up pointing out big factual inaccuracies in Michael Moore's works. Much like in Roger and Me (as they were imitating) he actually did get an interview with Roger Smith but said in his documentary that he couldn't.

I don't think the U.S does have the highest immigration rate but again that is a statistic built from interpretive information. Canada has the highest per capita immigration rate based on the census. I don't think I need to see a film that is probably equally biased to know that Moore is manipulative. Most docu filmmakers have to be to a certain extent. I will watch it though.

The OECD and WHO (World Health Org.) rank Canada's health system 28th out of 30 nations. How's that for efficiency. But hey "it's free" and everyone gets it. It must be better. That's why waiting lists of 18 months provoke Canadians to go to Bellingham for cancer treatments and down to Buffalo for hip replacements the SAME week!

The two student filmakers started out to make a film about Michael Moore and the phenomena he's become. Through Moores actions and tactic, the film ended up being an indictment. Moore does not report the truth, he manufactures the message to suit his theme. Just ask the nurses at the hospital in Windsor Ontario who were filmed for Sicko. It was the opposite of what Moore put on screen. All to praise Canada's "faultless" universal healthcare, and bash America's health system.

Watch the interview with the makers of this movie on Fox News. There should be a link to it on youtube. If I read the intentions of the interviewer with the responses of the interviewee's, Fox certainly did not fund this.

I knew already Michael isn't always that honest, can be very biased and his methods are sometimes devious, but I still am a fan, and despite some dodgy parts and a few lies, the essential of what he says is true. He just tends to lie a bit and distort the truth to suit his own point of view, and that's what I disapprove of.

i can't wait to see this movie. i've always been sceptical of michael moore. he's so narrow minded but even worse, is so arrogent and smug about it. i agree with him on a whole heap of things (i'm a democrat), but i abhor his techniques. i guess it's like republicans who don't like bill o'reilly.

this doco will be no more bias than any of his docos, except it will be reversed. Therefore by believing everything in this film, you're just as bad as someone who believes everything in a michael moore film......that aside, moore presents his side of a story, therefore he's not so much a documentary film maker but I enjoy his films. Everyone should just watch his films with an open mind, then research the subject themselves THEN give their own view on the issue.

And they had the gall to compare this incident with Moore going after Roger Smith. Smith who was responsible for thousands of lost jobs deserved to be hounded. Hounding a guy because you want to make some bucks off a documentary about another documentary maker? Gimme a break. One of the filmmakers even childishly said that she believed he didn't want to be interviewed because he may think he's too big a celebrity now. Please.

If Moore decided to give these hacks an interview, there would be no content about Moore's supposed shady methods. But because they were hurt that he didn't want to be interviewed, they dug up some dirt on him. Sounds like a couple of Moorebots themselves that were hurt by the response they got from their idol.

I've seen interviews with the filmmakers on tv and from what i gathered, they initially wanted to make a film about Moore in a positive light because of Moore's success as a filmmaker. When they got the cold shoulder (poor things) from Moore they turned it into a documentary against him.

It's pretty easy for the rest of us slobs to sit back, do and nothing but pass judgment on the guy. Of course he's not perfect, but some of the comments in that video suggest 'it's better if we don't question the state". And as a Canadian, I have to say I feel much safer here without guns. So do most of us.

I went to see Farenheit 9/11 on theater and was absolutely disgusted. And what made it worse was that all over the world "intellectuals" were hailing this guy as a some sort of and genius. He is good at what he does but what he does has nothing to do with truth, he's a goddamn lobbyist! Its not the stupid hat that tells me I shouldn't take the truth from him, it's the fact that he aint got none.

i used to think michael moore was a good guy until i realised that he keeps this false left/right paradigm going. he's funded by the people who see supposedly attacks. he's a shrill for those who want guns banned despite what the constitution says on the subject. and he's very undemocratic in his methods.

Let's see: he's constantly making films and writing books and doing publicity and giving talks and trying to live a life? And these filmmakers weren't kicked out by Moore.They were ousted by security. The post about significance and trivialities (above) is apt.

People love to be pissed off, and Michael more knows just how to sell it to them and make more money than a basketball player. He's just another hollywood filmmaker, nothing special, other than the fact that he labels his films as being factual when they are not.
Goes to show you you can't trust anything from Hollywood ; ). When everyone else was eating this shit up, I was like, "what a bunch of dumbasses". Al Gore learned everything he knows from him.

The observer did a superb article about trying to get a moore interview. Moore doent like to interview. He likes the press for his own films, but he doesnt like to be questioned about the methods. Regarding Bowling for columbine. Trey Parker and Matt stone were so fed up by people asking them did they animate moores film, that one of them say the film and hence Moore got portrayed as hot dog chomping suicide bomber.

Adam Curtis's multi-award winning documentary Power of Nightmares is the real story of the war on terror. What was so great about that was it told the story from both sides. From the birth of the neocone head movement to the origins of Al-aqaeda. Then the following bbc did a counter piece from Newsnights Peter Taylor(who made landmark series about Northern Ireland from all perspectives) about Al-qaeda 2.0.
