Since its lipo ready it should be fine with a 10.8v 4200 mah NiMH right? I don't want LiPo because you have to drain it completely before recharging, and that takes forever. Also I don't have a charger and with a LiPo Battery with a charger and everything its like $100+

A R.I.S is different from a R.A.S system. The rail system on the Kwa SR12 is a copy of the KAC, Knight's Armament Company SR25 style RAS system where as a RIS system is your standard M4 RIS.

Actually both guns are made in Taiwan as all Kwa products are. They both came out of Kwa USA which is just the distribution plant at City of Industry, California, except this one has been trademarked with it.
Please do NOT put a M160 spring unless you are going to make your gun Semi auto only as you will be removed from the field and banned forever. The output of an M160 spring on this gun would give in excess of 550 fps which is too hot for even the maximum FPS of any field for DMR and bolt sniper rifle limits. For your safety and the safety of others, DO NOT put any spring above a M140 so that nobody goes home with bbs stuck under their skin. The gun is fully capable of taking a M160 spring easy

the last time I owned a KJW M700 non take down version, I nearly broke it out of frustation of shitty accuracy lol. SR12 is one hell of a good DMR base gun cause you can shove in a m160 spring and all the internals will take it with ease just not the motor, cause it will struggle like a bitch lol. The motor is designated at a highest torque of handling a m150 but thats its extreme limit. I would recommend getting a Matrix magnum motor and a m150 spring, an edgi 6.01mm tbb and KSC .28g bbs.
i had the m700. it shoots really hot and the accuracy is GARBAGE... it is also incredibly inconsistant. if you really wanted to spend the money, you could possibly fix those problems. otherwise get the sr12.

Yes it has the Kwa 2GX second generation xtreme gearbox with new gears, and piston and features the new 2G hop up bucking. The new 2009 KM16 will arrive in about a month as they are being shipped currently from Tiawan and need to pass US customs.
G&G rail aren't "shitty per say;" they are very finely machined. But they didn't take the time to make it operator friendly. I already have two notches go slightly out of spec from one attach and release from my scope. The sharpness is also like a cheese grater. The lower rails on my G&G SCAR literally are scraping off the dead skin on my hands; need XTM's
VLTOR+KAC =win. You have to get a VLTOR MUR-1 upper just to complete the look.
