to AjaxEddyfan...the axe Poison is playing is actually a 'first-edition' Bill Lewis custom electric guitar from Vancouver, using Schaller pick-ups. The second edition had Lewis' own pick-ups, and those second edition guitars were owned and used by David Gilmour (Money - 3rd solo), Jimmy Page, and Eric Clapton. Poison's guitar dates from about 1968-69, and around 1970 the second..more famous edition was produced. Apparently only about 25 of these guitars were ever built.

It's hard to imagine that Lux has passed, I saw them for the first in 1979 at the Whiskey and they were probably the most original band of the time. I was a huge fan and loved the fact that they carved their own with being just another follower band ... I am forutnate to have seen them 6 more times during 1980 - 1982. This is quite good .... Of course it is it the Fucking Cramps ..... This was a typical show back in late 1979 - 1980. Bands were outrageous, inventive, and highly creative. Too bad you kids are stuck with the Offspring and Green Day ( PG-13 / New wave bands ) .... I am quite fortunate to have seen the bands like the Germs, Dead Kennedys, The Weirdos, Buzzcoks etc in their hey day and will always be thankful for once being there in the right place at the right time ...
