@97SSphobia You are aware that just because we listen to the strokes it doesnt mean we dont listen to other bands. I (for instance) listen to the velvet underground, the doors, queen, nirvana, g n' r, the beatles, the rolling stones, ac/dc, the arctic monkeys, bob marley, muse, radiohead, pearl jam, bob dylan and I started to listen to these bands because of The Strokes. The Strokes' sound originates from early rock and if it wasnt because of them, I would never have heard about them.

And the strokes are not gay, they are possibly one of the greatest bands and one of the most influencial in modern "Indie rock" Music. Once (or if) they reach a 5th or 6th album they can be without doubt given a title of one of the greatest of all time, each of their 3 albums so far have been high quality, every track, live performances are immense
