I agree, this is one of the best entries so far! It seems we all live in such a small isolated world witth our horses, but you have really put the numbers in perspective. I think a lot of people will be impressed by how well you presented why we need to save every horse!

Of all the context entries, this is the best so far IMHO --factual (and lots of research behind this), good speed (not too draggy), upbeat and convincing.

I remember seeing JFK's funeral procession on TV -- it certainly would not have been as striking if it had been a driverless car instead of a riderless horse.

I do understand that there might be a need for an emotional appeal to push the campaign forward, but I personally think meaningless slaughter is a reason in itself to be banned (whichever animal we are talking about here).
