dear @kevianho recently ive heard this caprice and a love it. i was searching in the web for the correct tab, and i have two versions. but i can see you have an easy way to play it. can you send me your tab online? im from Mexico, im not professional musician but i hope you can help me. sorry my english. thnks for you time!
No idea why these ridiculous guitarists try to play on guitar (not a violin, lol) something absolutely impossible! What they play is maybe 50% ot the amount of notes

seems like you have the fingerings.could you kindly send me the score??i have been searching some time.though i have the score i dont have the fingerings.message me if you are willing.thanks
yes i think the same as you, "jimbojimbojimbojimbo", when you play this piece your technique increases fucking a lot!! really.. PS: Elliot Fisk SUCKS MY ASS
i`m agree with you, is not easy even at that tempo... i also starting playing guitar. Good work kevinaho, keep working, only the practice makes the masters.
this is really good even if its not perfect, this piece will help his technique like no other piece, always pushing to your limits will eventually lead to amazing playing
I am sorry that I don't even have the score for what I was playing in the video. I do have the MP3 file from which I picked up the entire piece. I do have the score from Eliot Fisk but that score is not the same as what John Williams plays in the MP3 that I ripped from the John Williams audio CD. I used a free audio tool called GoldWave to slow down by half teh tempo of what John Williams plays in he MP3 then picked it up by ear from there.
Whoa ~ you have good ears. must have take you a long time to figure it out. thanks for letting me know. btw - i think i like john williams version the best of all that i heard. i have fisk's transcription but don't really like it. fisk is a good performer, but man, he plays way too fast and so it just sounds like unintelligible plucking... thanks for the reply!

BIG DEAL!!!!
I picked up the Toccata in D Minor from Bach's Toccata and Fugue on my piano in about half the time that he picked up Paganini XXIV. I later did a few embellishments to turn it into a tribute some of the others that adapted it for piano and orchestra, such as Stokowski, Busoni, and Klenovsky.
i totally agree with xelad1.You r doin great btw.its a hard classical piece n i am impressed too by your performance.. anyway, do any of u guys out there have video of john williams playing this piece? i only have the recording, comparing him n li jie, i still think williams is the best.. so, if any1 do have the video of john williams playing this piece, plz post it up... looking forward to view it..
im impressed at anyone trying this peice on classical so i don't want my comments to come off as me sounding like an ass but you should really practice this more at an even tempo with a mentronome more slowly... some parts you play normal speed but then you have to slow down on others... just slow the whole thing down and build up speed better
i think its a great work in progress like everyone says practice makes perfect.. very well done though, ive never been one for classical but that kicks ass!
Good playing but you still need some practise. This is a very difficult piece. You play some variations very well but some are sloppy and you need to get a better tone and phrasing (The variation around 2.50) Keep up the good work
thank you very much for putting the transcriber of this violin piece...now just have to buy at eBay..lol...btw, nice playing..hmm, more hall? work on the tone? bah..ur good anywayz
Wow! I watched this after leaving the comment on the other one. You are rocking this piece hard. You have the dynamics and everything there. You have the color and everything going on. Its awesome.
I see that you are from Virgina. Make it out to the Alexandria Guitar Festival. Im going to be there. My guitar teacher organizes it and has been trying to push me to go. I hope to see you there!
