awesome system sega should have put this to home back in 1992 or sometthing it would surely givin the snes a hardattack could you only imagine having this stuff a home in 1992 i think it was way expensive for home and the genesis was the cheapest way,but they could have done the system 32 instead of sega cd and 32X.

I think that sega genesis was a good decision. That 32bit arcade machines costed a lot. It only justificated to buy one of these if you're getting the money back.

Mame isn't that good at emulating outrunners, there is another emu, that is specifically for those system 32 games... I forget its name.

Are you using a recording software like FRAPS? MAME has an in-game recording system. If you go to "record input" It does a better job than FRAPS.

This video was recorded with Hypercam, since this was before the version of mame that have built in Video recording, was released.

Hey, please help. I downloaded this. When I play the game, instead of one big screen like yours, it's two little screens. One to the left, and one to the right. I have no clue how to fix this. Please help!!! This same thing goes for every other sega system multi 32 game. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!

if you didn'y know, the original arcade machine, was a dual cabinet, made for two players.

when you start outrunners, just press Tab on your keyboard, then go to video options, then select the very first option called " Screen 0 Standard (4:3)"

Recorded with Hypercam2, in AVI format. Actual recording speed was 29fps. mame tends to lag when you try to record, so that part was unavoidable at best.

Used VirtualDub to compress it, still leaving it in AVI format.

you need to get the rom called "orunners".

that is the parent name for the game.

also, if you unzupped the roms, Don't unzip them. leave them zipped inside the roms folder.
